That’s assuming no voters who would have voted for Carson decided to vote for Trump instead. It also presumes that there were that many voters who were originally going to vote for Carson which would be way above what the polls were predicting.
I am with Trump. Let’s cover everyone and give them better coverage than they have now, but let’s also have the government pay for it so the taxpayers don’t have to!
The man is brilliant, I am surprised Obama couldn’t think of that plan instead of Obamacare.

Exactly. What I find disturbing is how vitriolic Carsen is toward Cruz now. It just doesn’t seem like his character, this personal attack toward Cruz, and I’ve lost respect for him, taking HIS mistake to this level. Especially when THE RUBIO CAMP WAS DOING THE SAME THING CRUZ CAMP WAS!!! And not a peep about or attacking Rubio. Something isn’t right about that and leads me to believe it’s a pile on all fronts toward Cruz.
I’m also disturbed that no one is questioning or giving Carsen any grief for this whole debacle in the first place. Really? He’s leaving Iowa BEFORE the caucus results are in, and he’s not going to NH OR SC, but instead is going to FL. He makes this announcement right after Huckabee bows out of the race and his ONLY excuse was, he had to go get clothes?
Who believes THAT tripe? Certainly not all the fools who believe Cruz is now some nefarious evil Globalist who is, as I’ve seen some post here, worse than Obama?

Timing and content of the tweets is everything.
1. Supposedly the initial Cruz campaign tweet came out at 7 pm. They claimed that CNN was saying that Carson was taking a break and would have a big announcement later in the week. This was untrue. CNN did not say Carson was taking a break, nor did they say there would be a big announcement.
2. Carson responded by 7:53 that no, he was staying in. They were going to S Carolina and NH.
3. At 8:20, the national co-chairman of the Cruz campaign, Steve King, tweeted out that it looks like Carson is getting out of the race. THis went out to ALL of the precinct captains. They knew at that point it was absolutely not true.
Cruz later tried to say the tweets just went out to “our team” ....where most people would think it was just staff, when instead it went to 15-1600 precinct captains
The interesting this is that Gabriel has the word out in all caps. I mean, this was not a retweet of the CNN story with any sort of vagueness to it, according to him Carson was OUT.

At WORST, some Cruz staffers and supporters ran with a story on CNN that wasn't vetted. That's far from what I'd consider "cheating" like Clinton's buddy Donald Chump said (after all the insults, lies, flip flops, and birther crap from him)
Donald Chump the RINO lost by over 6000 votes. Ben Carson would have had to lose about 30% of his own votes - all to Cruz for this to have been won based on "dirty tricks" (let alone cheating or fraud).
Rove's threatened by Cruz's disdain for him and the Washington Cartel, so he's going to help anyone over Cruz.

this is the ORIGINAL tweet from the cruz campaign which nobody is talking about because it was deleted, all three of them. Gabriel is Cruz' PR director ... this was sent a 7:02. The word out is capitalized.
That is presuming Carson had that many votes to begin with which would be way higher than his polling average.

For starters, he set up a young Christian woman to be bashed and publicly humiliated by a gay rights activist, helping to turn the tide in favor of gay marriage.
I know number crunchers who are way out of Rove's league.
You had a 6200 vote gap between Cruz and Trump, who almost finished third. Cruz had 51666 votes. Carson had about 17,400 votes. In order for this gamesmanship (I'm not going to call it cheating as I've seen much dirtier politics than this on student council for Pete's sake) to have cost Trump, it would have had to cost Carson about 1/3 of his total vote (which would have all had to go to Cruz) - and Carson already well over-performed his polling.
This "four votes per precinct" line would be 9000 votes. That more votes than all except the top four vote getters total.
If you think Cruz cheated, you don't know a damn thing about politics. That's also a fact.
