First National Poll after Debate PPP: Trump 25 Cruz 21 Rubio 21
Twitter ^

Posted on 02/03/2016 6:07:42 PM PST by springwater13

This was reported tonight on MSNBC. PPP Poll conducted Tuesday and Wednesday after the debate.

The last PPP poll in December had Trump 34 Cruz 18 and Rubio 13. It looks like the soft Trump supporters went to Rubio, similar to what happened in the Iowa caucus. There is very little bump for Cruz.

Trump’s childish antics are fueling Rubio’s rise. I guarantee his whining and bellying aching about Cruz these last two days will further tighten these numbers.

No doubt about it

Based on this poll, it looks like after Trump wins big in NH, he will stay in 1st nationally, Rubio go up to 2nd and Cruz will drop to 3rd or 4th.

Trumpsters,

Are you willing to allow Rubio to rise?

Or are you ready to support an actual Conservative?

Yeah sure, he’s flaming out.

Even if this poll is accurate, it looks to me that Cruz is still behind Trump after his triumphant caucus victory.

He should be ahead. Trump will take NH and may still run the table after that.

This article doesn’t make sense. A ‘after the debate poll’ conducted yesterday and today, and released today? I smell BS.

Agreed, the fed-cred thieving GOPe amnesty pimp Rubio needs to be sent back to the private sector, not the white hut.

I don’t think this is very surprising. The diehard Trump support is around 25%. In October he was bouncing around the 20’s when Carson was leading. He lost some of the soft support he had that just wanted to go with a winner after the loss and it seems that support went to Rubio who FOX and everyone else is pimping right now.

Other than immigration, most Trump supporters are fiscally conservative and socially moderate. They are unlikely to align themselves with an evangelical like Cruz. It’s actually in Cruz’s best interest that Trump wins New Hampshire and doesn’t implode. Rubio would get most of his support and win SC and then probably roll to the nomination.

Or Trump 38, Cruz 14, Rubio 12 on the two nights after the caucus. This all becomes meaningless next Tuesday. Trump will win NH by a large margin and all polls will bounce back in his favor.

Trump is flaming out.

It won't end well for Trump or his supporters. When he flames out, the entire world will know it - probably in the form of a storm of 3 AM tweets.

Trump is imploding his campaign, but it is not too late for him to stabilize it for the moment if he has anything beyond yes-men around him to give him some better advice.

If Trump fails to win in NH he may bail early, if he hangs around and then doesn't win in SC I'd say he certainly leaves at that point. And when he goes, he will blame everyone but himself.

Don’t be duped by this poll. IT only is half of a poll.

I heard this was to be expected.

The race is going to get tighter and tighter, now, as candidates fall out and their support moves to the “chosen one”, or the “anointed one” (I forget which)...CRUZ.

I hope TRUMP beats out the RUBE, but when Cruz falls out, all the support will go to RUBIO to stop TRUMP.

“We people in the later states (NY) are gonna have to coalesce around one candidate.”

I would be on board everyone coalesce around Trump immediately. We win if we do both nomination and general. Cruz won’t win the general. In the 80’s he could, but not today. He has NO personality at all and that is what voters want. Look at the Presidents and the candidates and you will see the ones who won had personalities. That is just the facts.

Congrats on spelling coalesce right....that is good! I copied it from you....lol.
