No more Kaufman? I like to think of it as part of the Algonquin Roundtable of the hinterlands. A roundtable that includes a lazy-susan mechanism, replete with helpings of grits on top. And the bucolic Alexander Wolcott with gravy stains on his tie, and to whom locals affectionately refer to as “Big Daddy.” And the word “trumpertantrum” gives him a hearty guffaw.
