Answer: Ted Cruz

Some here are willing to replace one godless narcissist with another.

Open your eyes.

Cruz is HATED by ALL THE PEOPLE whose policies you oppose. There’s your litmus test.

Wake up!

KoolAid comes in different flavors.

Drink deep.

Fools.

The only thing I have to add to your excellent editorial is my core support for Trump: The majority of federal appointments by the president elect won't be made by a couple men huddled in a Washington DC suite (and thus filled mostly by the scions of donors and politicos, like they have but moments to consider each one in the month they have to compile this list.)

Which means the majority of the presidential appointments for the first time will be filled with people who can actually be fired if they screw up their jobs.

And federal workers agree - 25% of them have said that they'd either quit or seriously consider quitting if Trump wins.

And I go into it knowing full well he'll sign stuff I'll never agree to. I'll hope that with each of these losses it will be tempered with actual small victories, rather than the wholesale surrenders that Republicans have been doing for years.

That said, I'll enthusiastically support Cruz if he wins as well. Either or and both are all acceptable solutions to me, and as I've been saying repeatedly in threads, campaign for your candidate, don't bash the other - at the end of the day, we're all going to need each other to push the best choice over the finish line.

As for Rubio being a compromise candidate? Might as well just save time and effort and name Paul Ryan the Speaker and Chief Executive as he ushers in a new age of utter surrender to every harebrained liberal scheme that comes across the congressional floor.

WE RALLY, we conclave around the clear clarion call of Jim Robinson. A definite g-g-g-grandson of Paul Revere. I would ad to his wise words, another voice from the past, Chuck Colson who strongly advised us ALWAYS to look at a persons RECORD..over the rhetoric of his words. THINK about what he says. We need to be all careful looking into the conduct of a candidates historical patterns of giving to a cause, and who he has supported and voted for in the past. SUPPORT Free Republic...

"Ted doesn’t want to stop immigration from Muslim countries"

Neither does Trump. Trump only wants a temporary hold, "until we can find out what the hell is going on".

I think the world of Rush.

I heard his Rubio statement.

I just think he's wrong, terribly wrong. Rubio is a great "candidate", has all the right stuff, telegenic, likable, speaks well, but his foray with the gang of eight should have shown to everyone what an unprincipled sell out he is. He came on to Rush's show and lied to us all about that legislation. Had he not done that, he would likely be the one to beat, instead he's just Jeb in a pretty skirt, and a lot of people don't know that yet.

There was a lady from Florida who came on, one who knew him early on as he was running for the senate. He's bought and paid for by the establishment GOP/amnesty caucus.

Bad news.

Good Morning, Jim! Just wanted to remind everyone of this...

“Using MRI machines, researchers at the University College London found that “feelings of love lead to a suppression of activity in the areas of the brain controlling critical thought. It seems that once we get close to a person, the brain decides the need to assess their character and personality is reduced.””

http://www.artofmanliness.com/2013/01/31/relationship-red-flags/

So what is critical thinking? It is that upon which psychological cognitive therapy is based (if you need it).

From criticalthinking.org:

The Problem

Everyone thinks. It is our nature to do so. But much of our thinking, left to itself, is biased, distorted, partial, uninformed, or downright prejudiced. Yet, the quality of our life and that of what we produce, make, or build depends precisely on the quality of our thought. Shoddy thinking is costly, both in money and in quality of life. Excellence in thought, however, must be systematically cultivated.

A Definition

Critical thinking is that mode of thinking - about any subject, content, or problem - in which the thinker improves the quality of his or her thinking by skillfully analyzing, assessing, and reconstructing it. Critical thinking is self-directed, self-disciplined, self-monitored, and self-corrective thinking. It presupposes assent to rigorous standards of excellence and mindful command of their use. It entails effective communication and problem-solving abilities, as well as a commitment to overcome our native egocentrism and sociocentrism.

To Analyze Thinking

Identify its purpose, and question at issue, as well as its information, inferences(s), assumptions, implications, main concept(s), and point of view.”

***
On this site, Critical thinking about this election is used at about the same rate as Carson’s voter turnout rate. Remember, even God wants us to analyze His word and see if it is in fact the Truth about who He is.

Thank you Jim Robinson for the words of maturity. It has been quite appalling to watch this juvenile infighting going on between conservatives. Neither of the 2 men are perfect, for they are after all men, and I have issues concerning both of them. I have also been turned off by certain actions committed by each of them.

Like you said either one would be better than any of the others, in either party, and unfortunately Jesus is not here to be another option.

The reason I am supporting Trump is because I honestly do not believe Cruz can win the General Election, and this election is way too important for this utterly stupid infighting taking place.

Here is something people need to really look at..and I mean investigate with the same scrutiny they would use on Clinton.

Cruz runs as an outsider. He is backed by heavy duty insiders. The Chertoff Group is a who’s who of intelligence. Funny that they hooked up with The Carlyle Group to buy a company.

Here is the interesting thing that I uncovered yesterday.

The wife of his Campaign Chairman is Julie Spellman Sweet. They are influential enough that they made the New York Times Style section about their wedding.

Who is she? Basically the CEO of the North American Branch (yes that includes Canada) for Accenture. Who is Accenture? World’s largest consulting firm. A Fortune Global 500 firm.

Oh, and they outsource jobs.

Think they might benefit from Cruz wanting to raise H1B visas??????

They also win DOD contracts all over the world

I don’t know who Spellman’s parents are...it will be interesting to see if she comes from the Elite or if she just worked herself up the hard way. Same with Chad Sweet(CIA, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Chertoff Group)

Cruz is no outsider.
