Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and his supporters have been attacking the "corporate media" for not paying enough favorable attention to his "democratic socialist" campaign. But Sanders has his own "alternative media" outlets prepared to give him serious time and attention. They are led by Russia Today (RT), the anti-American propaganda channel funded by Vladimir Putin's regime.

I’ve watched a fair amount of RT. It’s focus is international and less on the US. American coverage is bland with little bias. If it’s anti-American TV you want, then set your dial to MSNBC, CNN, or the real government funded propaganda channel, PBS.

RT is about as “anti-American” as US media is “anti-Russian” .

If Sanders were to win, I wonder if he would have one of those epic big red banners with portraits of Lenin, Marx, etc on them displayed at the White House, and would he have his portrait added?

No, not so strange at all. Given a chance Putin would put Sanders and Schultz to the wall.

I watched RT for a while. Got tired of hearing about US in Vietnam, from the last century. As well as the other constant anti-US propaganda.

The only advantage I can see with a President Sanders is there will be no more 2000 page legislative acts. Most of his legislation will be executive orders restricted to 5 or 6 words copied from bumper stickers starting with the word “free”. Funding of course will come from the manna of the magic trees he will be planting in the Rose Garden. It is hard for me to believe any adult would take this simpleton seriously. He is unhirable in the private sector much less Presidential timbre.

A friend who works in a social services office locally was talking to other employees who are enthusiastic Bernie supporters. When she commented on the ‘free stuff’ she asked them how it would be paid for. They looked at her in shock & said, “you don’t understand, it’s FREE!”

Yep, we have a deliberately dumbed down populace & they vote.
