Good post - I agree. I appreciated and respected his mature and gracious remarks on Monday night. WHY did he toss that away?
Consider the source of this. Red State is very anti-Trump.
That's not a great quality for a leader to have, and it's actually pretty disappointing considering how great he was on Monday.

If Trump’s goal all along was to get a Democrat elected by throwing the Republican primaries into chaos, he probably will go Third Party if he’s not the Republican nominee.
I've been saying that all along. When the COMMIES veered the JACKASS party leftward, the reasonable DUmocrats bolted and aligned with Trump who would be better running as one of them instead of trying to hide behind a "conservative" facade.

Really, you don’t have to support Trump anymore. I understand why you wnet for him. I really do. But you need to move on.
Look, the solution isn't to destroy the GOP -- it is to try to elect candidates that will follow the path we want. At the least, the GOP fights a rear guard action that at least slows the march to socialism, and buys us more time to win elections and maybe, eventually, get the right guy in there.
Destroying the GOP is basically giving up, because then there will be zero impediment to the Dems hurtling much faster towards socialism.

Sadly, he does retweet them. I’ve looked at a lot of these accounts (typically tagged “White Genocide,” “AltRight,” and so on. Then I block them.
I honestly don’t think he looks at these accounts before he retweets them... he just likes what they write in support of him.
If the Lump is the nominee, the Democrats will take Congress with a huge majority. The foul-mouth, vulgar tard will turn away half the party’s own voters who couldn’t hold their nose tight enough to block the stench.
Let's be wary of Pyrrhic victories.
