Trump Says He’ll Probably Sue Over Iowa Results, Accuses Cruz Of “Voter Fraud”

Donald Trump says he will probably sue over the results of the Iowa caucuses, accusing Ted Cruz of committing voter fraud to win.

In an interview on Boston Herald Radio on Wednesday, Trump criticized the Cruz campaign for spreading a CNN report saying Ben Carson would not travel to New Hampshire and South Carolina after the Iowa caucuses, suggesting Carson was getting out of the race. Cruz apologized to Carson on Tuesday for his campaign not sending out updates that Carson was doing laundry and not dropping out

"One of the most disgusting things I've ever seen. They said he was quitting the race and to vote for him," said Trump.

Asked if he would sue, Trump said, "I probably will, what he did is unthinkable. He said the man has left the race and he said it during the caucus. And then when the clarification was put out by Ben Carson saying it's untrue, they got the statement and they didn't put it out."

Rubio must be the one really smiling and savoring what’s ahead.

Especially when his team was also involved in "dirty Tricks" against Carson. Without apology.

Trump boosters don't seem too bothered about that.

Who is he going to sue? CNN? the GOP party? I would think that now would be a bad time to be making enemies.

He would have sued Japan over Pearl Harbor.

I said early on, one of Trumps BIGGEST hurdles would be how he handled a loss in Iowa.

After Trump gave his concession speech, I thought Trump had managed to avoid this potential pitfall, but after initially surprising me with his maturity, he is now completely melting down.

If Trump keeps this up he could completely implode.

Trump doesn't meant this and has no intention of suing. He's trying to burn a news cycle so his loss in Iowa is not front and center. Say what you will about Trump being a buffoon (I wouldn't disagree) but he is always thinking of ways to give himself an advantage.

If Trump sues over every primary and caucus that he doesn’t do as well as he expected in then he’s going to be a very busy fellow.

Go for it, Trump.

You’re digging your own political grave. The sooner you exit, the better.

“Some”? Only the certifiably delusional among us - and Donald Trump, of course...

Trump didn’t want to sue or pay for a suit to compel Obama to prove his eligibility, but he’s willing to sue over Cruz’s win of the Iowa caucus and has more than suggested that someone sue regarding Cruz’s eligibility. I continue to wonder just whose side Trump is really on, aside from his own.

Trump is doing exactly what Democrats do when they lose.

Correction: Trump is doing what Nixon didn’t do in 1960. Nixon was a gentleman and didn’t challenge the 1960 results. The GOP likes gentle men and ladies.

Now we’re seeing the real Trump.. the one who tried to sue Vera Coking out of her home.

Thank God this nefarious side of his personality is showing up now, and not after the nomination.

He needs to have a political sounding board before he spouts off. If this continues, he will certainly lose.
