Donald Trump says skipping debate may have cost him Iowa

Milford, New Hampshire (CNN)Donald Trump on Tuesday said his decision to skip the last Republican debate before the Iowa caucuses may have led to his second-place finish in the Hawkeye State.

"That could've been with the debate," Trump acknowledged to reporters in Milford, New Hampshire, where he was introduced and endorsed by former Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown. "I think some people were disappointed that I didn't go into the debate."

Being an obvious liberal & trying to fool people into believing you are conservative may have done it for Trump, too.

Trump, in 2013, endorsed communist Bill De Blasio for New York City mayor. He supports Obama's opening up to communist Cuba. He loves KGB Putin. He, in his mid-50s, supported gays in the military AND partial birth abortion.

________________________________________

TRUMP [on the Larry King Show (2009), referring to the then newly elected communist president (Obama)]: "Well, I really like him. I think that he's working very hard. He's trying to rebuild our reputation throughout the world. I mean, we really have lost a lot of reputation in the world. The previous administration [GW Bush] was a total disaster, a total catastrophe."

And I'm not saying I agree with everything he's doing. I do agree with what they're doing with the banks. Whether they FUND THEM or NATIONALIZE them, it doesn't matter, but you have to keep the banks going."

If Megan Kelly can take Trump out so easily, I don’t fancy his chances against Putin or the Chinese.
I guess Trump just isn’t presidential grade material...

Trump had a packed house last night and lets see how many show up for his rally tonight.

Most people don’t like Cruz, he seems Nixonesque, slimy.

I don’t quite see it that way. If it did cost him Iowa (rather, it cost him a single delegate in that caucus) it served to place the media on notice that manipulating the debates isn’t going to be an easy thing this time around. It may not have been worth it to Trump but I think it may have been worth it to the country. Just my $0.02.

I hate the liberal media, and yes FOX News is part of it.

I'm not a fan of FOX News either, they represent fake opposition to the establishment, much like the Republican party itself.

However, Trump saying that he won't show up to the debate because he doesn't like one of the moderators just made him look childish. How would Trump work with members of Congress, his own cabinet, or foreign leaders if he can't even deal with an airhead debate moderator?

Attending the debate might have cost him the election. It was an ambush aimed solely at taking Trump out. Megyn had to settle for attacking Cruz & Rubio.
_________________________________________________________

And both Cruz and Rubio weathered the storm, showing they could handle the pressure, and both outperformed their polling.

Trump tried to look tough. Instead, he looked weak and afraid. He under-performed, in part, because of it.

He has sure fooled many here. An Coulter, who has gone all in for Trump, stated that since Trump was for ethanol subsidies, he was brilliant and now could “see the bigger picture” that subsidies were good.

He also said that if he had to choose again between coming in second and raising $6M for veterans and coming in first and not raising $6M for veterans, he would pick coming in second.

In other news:
Meet Chad C. Sweet, Ted Cruz’s campaign chairman, former DoD/CIA/Goldman Sachs/Homeland Security.

Sweet co-founded the Chertoff Group with former Bush and Obama administration Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff.

As a leader of the Chertoff Group, Sweet “advocated for expanding NSA metadata collection.”

Meet Ted’s ex-CIA PR guy, Dan P. Gabriel. Gabriel is involved in SIGINT aka interception - which is turned into propaganda. His twitter handle is @danpgabriel and he was one of the people pushing the angle that it was confirmed to the Cruz campaign that Carson was dropping out. After called out on the lie, the agent deleted the tweet and denies everything in typical spook fashion:

Ted Cruz PR CONFIRMED government agent! Actively working for Soros & US Army! Rabbit hole time...

Thomas Sowell - After Iowa (Feb. 03, 2016)

With this country at a crossroads, facing social degeneration at home and dire threats from abroad, the last thing we need is an uninformed bluffer with a runaway ego in charge of our fate. Neither Trump’s talent as a media performer nor his wheeler-dealer economic success is a substitute for the depth of knowledge and the chastening experience required for governing a great nation.

Something doesn't jive. The entrance polls had him taking the win. I'm guessing lotsa moles.

Might explain why Cruz suddenly hit Rubio.

How anyone can continue supporting this spoiled brat cry baby is a mystery to me.

Because as various also-ran candidates drop out, the alternative to Trump won't be Ted Cruz, it will be the sleaze Marco Rubio.

What a boatload of BS

Bimbo Ho Kelly was given two weeks off to settle her nerves and dodge death threats after her disgraceful and unprofessional conduct at that first debate.

I am tired of hearing this disproven Crap. Trumps polls went thru the roof, he beat her senseless at the debate, the crowd cheered for Trump’s comeback at the Bimbo.

Trumps polls went up the Bimbo Ho’s ratings went down.

I did not say it was

IF Trump did what Cruz (or Rubio by your own admission) did

The liberal media would be out smearing him as a CHEATER

And they would use an image of him and his first or second wife for visual affects

You do know that the #1 candidate that the establishment liberal hates the most is Trump right?

Fox would love to smear him as a “cheater” as would any of the other guys

Show me the math of that. Show me where Carson was going to increase his showing by 39% over his polling, and then that every one of those extra voters would go to Cruz to give him the votes he beat Trump by.

The math doesn’t work for that theory.

Trump swung to the left with his health care for everyone mantra and scared off his own support. That liberal pie scam to buy voters doesn’t work on Republicans. He needs to look into the mirror for why he lost.

Don’t forget Ted’s fraudulent voting mailers intended to intimidate that violated federal and Iowa election laws.
Cruz’s campaign thus far has resembled the scurrilous tactics of another foreign-born candidate who got by the law because his cult knew he as ineligible but voted for him anyway knowing it was wrong.

But for you illegality enablers, it’s OK because he apologizes every time he hits below the waist, and there’s plenty more “Sorry sorry sorry”s where those came from ...

Liar.

If indeed Cruz did cheat, then why did the Carson voters go for Ted and not Donald or Marco or ???

Fact is, CNN’s lied and ALL (not just Ted) the candidates reaction to that “story” was a huge non-event in Iowa.

Trump is just a sore loser. Bitterly clutching at straws to explain why he lost.

The ratings dropped from 25 million plus to 13 . It is one of the greatest loss of revenues seen in our life time by a cable “new” business. 1 minute of advertising went from $750,000 to $100,000 or less toward the boring end. Fox wanted to push that partisan gope bitch in trumps face again and he said nope! He adamantly said in this interview he would absolutely do it again. I expect Trump to be smart with Fox. He has already appeared on O’Reilly and Hannity .
I watched this morning ( for a change) and they had 2% bush on there with shot skirt blond bimbo and did not ask him a single tough question. It was all big ol fat “ what color do you like” pablum. I really think the FEC needs to check out “in kind” donations for that rare interview of this no energy “has been” .
