Beyoncé already pretty much did that with her Superbowl “shows”

“Jose Feleciano did a non-traditonal rendition of the anthem in the late ‘60’s or early ‘70’s.”

That happened at Detroit’s Tiger Stadium in 1968 during the World Series. And yeah, it was kind of a big deal.

And we can ‘thank’ Janet Jackson for revealing some nip.

Hopefully Gag-a-lot will clean up her act as some suggest, but she IS the one that likes to wear flimsy see-throughs . . . even though some of us don’t wish to see-through. Laz excepted, of course.

It’s a sign of the times when long after a performer like Lady Gaga has made millions upon millions of dollars, people are so surprised to learn that she can actually sing well and play the piano all by herself!

“Lady Gaga is great - truly talented. She has toned it down over the past few years and is a serious artist.”

Yeah, sure. And like few others have done, she will quit touring and concentrate on working and playing with top-ranked session musicians, eventually releasing a groundbreaking, monumental work on par with Sgt. Pepper, etc...Yeah, sure.

She does it entirely correctly, no error whatsover, beautifully.

She doesn’t ‘hip hop’ or ‘pop’ it like so many modern singers do.

Lately she's pretty much quit music and has been talking to groups of kids about what a worthless vapid industry it is. I've seen the videos and she's pretty convincing.

As for the NFL, I can't stand them, but I love their product. They want an young audience and Lady Gaga is the right performer to choose.

Yeah, right performer if you like someone who champions “LGBT” causes.

I don’t know her real name nor do I listen to her music. Have seen her a few times and have read she may be a he. That’s all I know.

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta a.k.a. Lady Gaga champions “LGBT” causes besides the “persona” she puts on for shows.
Seriously, her song “Born this way” was dedicated to the limp wrist crowd.
The promo for homo is all you really need to know about her.

Yup; she did a wonderful job...and looked quite nice. I admit that was the first time I heard her singing (and looking) like that. I believe she’ll do the National anthem with the reverence it deserves.

How is that shark jumping? I mean yeah, she’s a talentless hack, but she’s also extremely popular. Having one of the most popular singers of the day sing the anthem isn’t exactly a “running out of ideas” moment, it’s generally just good business. And Tony Bennett seems to like her, so maybe she actually has talent. Or he’s old and senile.

Right, that’s why ratings and revenue are up. More and more Americans are SAYING they’re saying no, but they’re lying.

ditto, the US Anthem is not the easiest of songs to sing, the people who try to put their own spin on it butcher it.

Country & Western Stars or Military do it right and best.

I’d rather see Darius Rucker sing our Anthem

Thanks. That is all I need to know. I will not be tuning in to the performances of the SB.

I’m glad I don’t “Do” the pregame and halftime stuff.....those are always good times to go check the air in the tires and things like that.
