How John Adams Predicted Bernie Sanders and His Acolytes

There is something incredibly curious about the Bernie Sanders's faithful. On the one hand, we're told that they’re incredibly well-educated. Indeed, academia and its young charges support him more than other candidates, some say.

Allow Founder and second U.S. President John Adams to explain.

In 1787, Adams published his three-volume work, A Defence of the Constitutions of Government of the United States of America. In the opening chapter of Volume III, he predicts, with eerie precision, the why and how of Bernie Sanders and his acolytes.

In brief summation of its entirety, this introductory chapter is an argument for a nation built upon a separation of powers and laws based upon unalienable individual rights, in contrast to a nation built upon a single, unchecked legislative body of representatives that could impose the will of a mob.

Here, Adams responds to seventeenth-century journalist Marchamont Nedham, who makes the contention that a legislative body, enacting the will of a majority, is a suitable means of governance, because people, in general, "never think of usurping over other men’s rights, but mind which way to preserve their own."

"[I]f the people never, jointly nor severally, think of usurping the rights of others, what occasion can there be for any government at all?" Adams asks. "Are there no robberies, burglaries, murders, adulteries, thefts, nor cheats…. Is not a great part, I will not say the greatest part, of men detected every day in some disposition or other, stronger or weaker, more or less, to usurp over other men's rights?"

And he even provides a description as to how it would happen, which, again, is eerily similar to Sanders’s proposed policies that have his flock so incredibly excited:

"Perhaps, at first, prejudice, habit, shame or fear, principle or religion, would restrain the poor from attacking the rich, and the idle from usurping on the industrious; but the time would not be long before courage and enterprise would come, and pretexts be invented by degrees, to countenance the majority in dividing all the property among them, or at least, in sharing it equally with its present possessors. Debts would be abolished first; taxes laid heavily on the rich, and not at all on the others; and at last a downright equal division of everything be demanded, and voted. What would be the consequence of this? The idle, the vicious, the intemperate would rush into the utmost extravagance of debauchery, sell and spend their share, and then demand a new division of those who purchased from them." [emphasis added]

It was easy for Adams to predict, because it is human nature, and it had happened before with the fall of the Roman Republic and its replacement with the rule of the Caesars. It has happened in the past and it will happen again because those who envy what others have and those who envy power join forces in a democracy and ultimately destroy any democracy.

The current era is the “stress test” for the constitution. We will see if the safeguards placed by our founding fathers against such a day are strong enough to withstand the onslaught.

Ol’ John Adams was really shrewd; no wonder he was a one termer as president; the people already distrusted him way back then.

That sounds so much like what would likely happen with reparations for slavery.

The desacralization of Life and Property has been instituted in our “Just Laws” decades ago: the march through the institutions to do just what all the Founders predicted would happen with an immoral, ignorant populace: We are slaves of an oligarchy.

“Laws” that no longer promote “public virtue” (unconstitutional), but now promote theft and killing and all sorts of filthy vice, will collapse civility and destroy the morals of the children raised in such a toxic environment. We literally banned God and Christ from the public square and public schools (unconstitutional), so we could replace Christian Ethics in our “Justice” System with the ethics of Satan and the irrational, demonic use of others which is taught (brainwashing) to children as “Good” and a “Right”.

Right Reason and God’s Laws were literally kicked out of our “Justice” system by the Progressives (Marxists/Fabian sodomites (godless)).

We reap what we sow....and laziness and complacency just make our lives SO much more comfortable. We allow others to educate and shape the minds of our children. We “trust” people and not God/Truth. We are afraid ot being “rejected” by peers for stating the Truth or for looking “odd”, for if we state Truth today, we are marginalized, not cool, or vilified by the Bern majority or even family members who are useful brainwashed idiots who believe the lies and disinformation and reject God/Truth.

We need to return to Classical Christian curricula 80 years ago. Truth/God will set us Free. Without God, everything is permissible, even slavery and sodomy—the most demonic, irrational, dehumanization of human beings.

John Adams knew that when Just Law is corrupted, it will collapse culture. As Montesquieu stated, Just Laws have to promote “public virtue”, otherwise they are unjust (evil) law which is always unconstitutional (antithetical to the Supreme Law of the Land).

because it is human nature

My old party, the Democrat Party, had many members (like my now dead parents) who at least to share the social values of the country with other Americans. Many of its leaders were thieves (like as now), but at least they weren't trying for the most part to destroy the social order, destroy the military, or destroy white males.

The Democrat Party now exists to spread jealousy of those with more, foster hatred for certain groups (white males), and are determined to destroy the social order.

We will see if the safeguards placed by our founding fathers against such a day are strong enough to withstand the onslaught.

And if they are not, we, as instructed by our forefathers, should abolish the current form of government and reestablish one that is stronger than the previous with all of the strengths and none of the weakness of the same.

Human nature... And yet for all his insight into human nature, he was still subject to the same frailties that he wrote about.

That sort of thing is why there are supposed to be Constitutional safeguards rather than the arbitrary mob rule of direct democracy.

Truth is more hated than Lies (Machiavelli).....People are uncomfortable with Truth, because they are sinners.

It is like Socrates——he was killed just for saying the Truth, but he had courage and a few acolytes who created a Revolution that was the Foundation of Western Civilization.

Jesus wasn’t popular in the end either. Do you really “think” the majority “KNOWS” what is best—that majorities are “rational”??? LOL-—that is WHY we have individual Natural Rights, not “oollective” (Marxist) rights. All the Founders hated and feared democracies (mob rule) just as much as the Athenians and for very good reason.

We see the evil nature of “group think” if you study psychology and how easy it is for the group to actually force a person to believe Up is Down (throw out Reason).. Individuals create movements and inventions: the mobs tear down and destroy. Only emotions/rhetoric control groups, and reasoning with the mobs is impossible. (Plato knew that over 2300 years ago.)

That is why we are a Constitutional Republic which is NOT a democracy.

The problem is we allowed our Constitution to be removed at the beginning of the 1900s by the Progressives (Marxists).

Everything that is going on today is because we have allowed unjust, unconstitutional laws. (Judges were bribed and corrupted and we appointed Marxists onto the courts).

Cicero stated that when laws cease to be Just—we will get tyranny. All Just Laws promote “public virtue” and that is necessary for a Free Republic (Montesquieu) We now have a Vice System in place since it advocates unequal treatment (progressive tax) and special treatment for vile, dehumanizing acts such as sodomy

Promoting vice is the easiest way to get tyranny-—Machiavelli—he stated it was ESSENTIAL to promote Virtue esp. in the military and we now promote bestiality and sodomy to our young men and force children to take “Pride” in the evil, vile dehumanizing acts. They literally flipped Good and Evil in 100 years to Satan’s Ethic system.

Reparations for slavery is, I think, clearly on tap and will be heavily backed by the American people, who don’t want to be called “racist” for opposing such a plan.

Nevertheless, quite a few white males still embrace “the democracy”, as it was often called in the 19th century.
