If this is what Cruz used then he really is a deceiver.
When the Carson staffers were involved in that horrible accident, the media pushed that he was ending the campaign.
If you were a Carson supporter, would you take some Cruz operative telling you Carson was dropping out, vote for Cruz.
These things are essentially impossible to prove.
Kind of like how many Bush votes were lost when the MSM called Florida for Gore before the polls in the panhandle were closed.

What part of the story qualified as Breaking? CNN hoped they had a breaking story and failed miserably.

Steve King is not a political novice. He knew what he was doing. He used an unsubstantiated report to make a baseless claim under the guise of ‘Iowans need to know.” Right.
As a voter, I do not take kindly to anyone trying to manipulate me right before I cast my vote. Iowans are no different. I don't care if it is politics as usual or they all do it. I don't have to accept it.
I don't blame Carson for being angry.
Cruz’simply team did NOT cheat. They made sure everyone knew about a breaking news story that CNN later had to retract. CNN is now trying to change what it had reported.
