Steve King Tweets Under Fire by Ben Carson’s Campaign

Rep. Steve King is taking heat for what he posted on Twitter during the caucuses Monday night about Ben Carson.

King, the Cruz campaigns national co-chair, retweeted CNNs Chris Moody about Carson’s break from the campaign trail before New Hampshire’s primary.

Carson looks like he is out. Iowans need to know before they vote. Most will go to Cruz, I hope, King tweeted. In another tweet, the congressman said Carson’s next steps were equivalent of suspending.

And Trump’s lying pretense of being a Republican conservative is not a form of voter fraud? Cruz should apologize when Trump apologizes. And Carson should get his poll numbers up high enough that his supporters can’t be bamboozled into believing he is dropping out. They wouldn’t have bought the spin if it weren’t plausible considering his poll numbers.

Yes, its dishonest and a Democrat tactic. Something Cruz, Rubio, Bush, et al seem to be happy to deploy now that Trump has spent the last 6 months using Democrat tactics and talking points.

I am thrilled to read ‘outsider’ candidates. Republicans suffer from wife beaters syndrome. Republicans love status quo government as much as liberals. I have no clue if any will sue, because law, and right versus wrong means nothing today. I am well aware that Jesus, I mean Cruz won Iowa.

Yes I do. No it wasn't. You are in no position to judge a person's motives or their heart. Word to the wise, noob. Leave playing God to God.

Hey joy,l. This is good.

Pretty much a self-inflicted wound by Carson’s campaign staff.

[[note to Cruz - God will not be mocked. He knows motives and hearts.]]

note to be4me- blah blah blah- carson went in with 10% and left with 10%- it was a last minute news story- he told his staff what CNN was reporting- he was out campaigning door to door- his staff were the ones handling this- CNN is to blame for reporting it the way they did- sorry - not feeling your faux outrage on this issue

I’m sure God is fine with it- too bad you aren’t and seem to want to gin up a crucifixion for all the world to see- have a nice day

funny! who are you to” judge” what is or isn’t a test from God for a person? God is constantly letting us have situations to test our character not for himself but to help us see our own flaws/weakness. Just as a good parent lets a child take training wheels off when it’s time and the child may still have mishap with the bike. He lets us have opportunity to ride following guidelines and be safe, or go outside the guidelines (too fast/reckless, get scared, be out of balance etc) and fall or hurt our self.

gov -we are all to have discernment as believers. A lot of people mistakenly think discernment spoken is judging.

This was the tweet Steve King saw [from CNN Twitter] and was repeating it. https://twitter.com/CNN/status/694326400006762496

That wasn't a repeat...that was a new interpretation. King CLEARLY changed the intent to make it look like Carson was dropping out of the race. CNN merely reported that he was taking a break after the Iowa Caucuses but said or implied nothing about dropping out. EVERYONE took a little break after the caucus.
