We lived in Cicero for a year after we got married.

Chicago/Cicero politics were crooked, and East Chicago made elections in banana belt countries look honest in comparison.

Trump needs to talk about how he can bring industrial production and jobs back to America, and go back to his strength which are jobs and the economy. Trump runs a billion dollars plus business empire while Cruz and Rubio couldn’t run a lemonade stand.

Yes. You were spot on about this. Hopefully Trump gets a convincing win in NH. Will be hard for other to gain traction. Today is a lost campaign day and then Super Bowl weekend when nobody will be paying attention. Tuesday will be on us soon.

I agree.

Rush is going to say he predicted the whole thing.

I’m turning them all off, every last one of them.

They can all spin and chat and do what they want.

Rush and Levin and the rest tell me nothing.

Has anyone heard about Huckabee endorsing Trump?

Note that over 15,000 people cast a vote for nothing.

So Trumps back to the “Iowans are stupid” position?

Maybe Trump lost in Iowa because Trump supporters are so dang hateful and negative?

So true. Unfortunately until we passed voter ID. The regions bus loads colored the entire state. Rep Carson once got 110% of her eligible voters to win in one election. Well duh ! She even won when she was on the verge of being declared BRAIN DEAD. They pulled the plug and appointed her grandson to fill her seat.

Trump is the only candidate capable of building that wall.

That's the thing. With Trump, we will get a wall and a strong arm against illegal immigration, not to mention what he can do for the economy and jobs. Cruz could/would never do any of this, he would have no power. And Rubio sure as heck won't. They'd both be amnesty pushers. I can hear the excuses now. "We have to work with Congress. We must compromise."

Boycott Fox, send Murdoch packing back ro where he came from! Murdoch, take MGYN with you.

I gave up on ANCNNBCBS decades ago, Rush became a no go a decade ago, and I never listened to Levin.

Strange, the only person publicly talking about compromising with Congress is Trump.

Congress has already passed law to build wall and provided some funds. Trump is right it was an EPA dulling that stopped it. A toad or snake or pothead

I care about the constitution...

My point for my post was calling you out on your phony concern for Ben Carson...and how Donald ripped Carson...because at that point Carson was Trump’s main competitor in Iowa.

LOL “so how was the cake” was suppose to be in a message not a comment. Oh and Levin is going to be soooooo happy tonight....he’ll be sorry when Cruz looses to that monster if he is the nominee.

I like Cruz more than Trump, but that NBC issue is gonna hang over Ted if he’s the nominee. The Democrats will run to town on that issue alone. It’s a legitimate problem for Cruz and I wished he would have addressed it head on before announcing his presidential run.

I read just after the debate that Trump booked a post-Iowa appearance in Arkansas. I think it was scheduled for sometime this week. That’s a pretty strong indication that The Huckster is going to endorse fairly soon.

As disproportional as is the attention that Iowa and New Hampshire get, it’s good for the process.

Only there do the candidates actually have to meet the American voter face-to-face and day-to-day. Candidates can’t hide behind a mega-million dollar ad campaign and manufactured persona and win in those states. Like the electoral college, it helps the little guy retain some power versus the big and powerful.

That’s healthy, whether your candidate won or not.

Big retail politics come into play in March. Unless he implodes in aggravation this month, Trump should do well then.

He shouldn’t have wimped out of last week’s debate and, in effect, let his ego toss support to Rubio.
