Trump Nation's Faded Boarding Pass
The American Thinker ^ | February 2, 2016 | Geoffrey P. Hunt

Posted on 02/02/2016 1:25:22 AM PST by Cincinatus' Wife

[snip]

".........Trump Nation is tired of failed transactions leaving only humiliation, disrespect, hardship, and despair. Trump Nation wants a transaction president.

Donald Trump knows transactions. Donald Trump advertises that he's not only a high stakes negotiator. Trump will save the nation in the grandest transaction yet.

It is that simple.

Just like Trump Airlines.

Recall Trump's promises in 1988 -- a lot more than a simple transaction in keeping the aging Eastern Airlines shuttle fleet flying. Trump promised luxury, convenience, style, personal touches, affinity to grandeur, and profitability.

Except for convenience, Trump delivered nothing else for which customers were willing to pay. The Trump Shuttle was a flaming financial wreck. Customers had already defected to upstart Pan Am. In desperation Trump trashed his rival, claiming Pam Am execs were losers, and Pan Am was unsafe. (Sound familiar?)

Soon enough, Donald Trump's transaction to transform the airline business was a bust. His most important transaction was confounding third party creditors in bailing out his personal guarantees.

Donald Trump's prefabricated brand is of the quintessential transactional leader. He's a master, even negotiating brilliant escape hatches when he fails.

Trump Airlines, perhaps Trump's boldest venture far removed from his core expertise, still displayed Trump's leitmotif -- engineering a brash makeover for an overvalued transaction to get into the airline game, unable to command the nuts-and-bolts knowhow needed to gain market share and stop bleeding margins, thus in desperation finally piloting a perilous landing, coaxed to the ground by Citibank controllers leaving the third party creditors, and employees, to find the exit row chutes, fending for themselves.".......

You got to be one of the trashiest poster here. Supporters actions tell a lot about the candidate they are supporting. Your constant attacks on Trump your constant negative posts on Trump and the ease with which you resort to lies is very telling.

What lies have I resorted to?

Do you believe Donald Trump is an honest man?

If Ted was hard line on illegal immigration I’d be all for tonight’s results. He and Rubio just don’t convince me on the border at all...and they’re neocons too who want to be in the middle east too eagerly.

Trump 2016.

Go back to your other sites!

Trump supporters ignored almost all of the nasty posts to and about them for many months on end. It is only very recently that we began to fight back.

And no, Trump supporters don't look like Obama supporters did/do; try the other side...they sure do.

Well, at least he hasn’t been eating at the government trough all his life like politicians - (cough, cough) Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio (I do think he was in private practice at one time though), and others. He rose and fell on his own without taxpayer’s paying his salary. It’s called risk.

Sleazy DIRTY TRICKS won't help poor Teddy in N.H. nor S.C.!

Dr. Carson Unhappy About CNN Report That He Was Taking A Break From 2016 Race

"There was a brief period of time where Dr. Ben Carson was believed to be the man who could stop the Donald Trump train and Iowa was going to be the state where he proved that.

Those days appear to be over after the mainstream media launched a brutal series of attacks against Carson and he now finds himself on the outside looking in according to most major polls.

The media is practically giddy at the idea of Ben Carson dropping out and CNN took some "insider" information live onto the air today that was a little misleading and the Carson campaign was apparently extremely upset."......

Come on, man. I know you don’t believe that.

I see the most stupid and silliest pictures of Cruz on Trump threads. Does that mean Trump acts like he’s 10 years old?

i would vote for either.

Cincinnatus was for Walker. Very much so. How do you know this is person is so much for Cruz after being 110 percent for Walker, who i thought was a good man too but too green yet.

I would like to think that there’s NO chance you wouldn’t vote for Cruz over hillary if it came to it, which it very likely wont.

Trump was the better candidate.

Cruz was thumping a bigger bible.

Trump was also the better spender. For each Iowa delegate he won, he probably spent only a million, whereas Ted spent many more times that.

The country will continue down the path of financial ruin under the big-spending Cruz if he becomes president.

Of course nobody will be noticing that, i heard Jebby spent something like $2300 per voter.

Somebody gives me that i’d vote 10 times.

No I don’t know.

Oh dear, you might want to start checking out the accusations that Cruz’s camp started spreading the rumor right before the caucus that Ben Carson was dropping out so they could get Carson’s voters. If true it’s probably what pushed him above Trump.

Yeah, he got 7 delegates, and spent less money than anyone.

More bang for the buck.

Look, imo, all top three guys did well. Cruz won outright. Trump got the most votes per dollar spent. Rubio outperformed the polls.

When you throw in Carson, it appears that about 85% of the vote was AGAINST the DC establishment (I don’t buy that Rubio is necessarily GOP-e).

That is a good thing.

You do realize don’t you that there were only a little over 185,000 votes in Iowa? Not ever person gets to vote in a caucus in that state - unlike the other states where they go to a private computer and vote. Their system of caucusing is just plain stupid and come 2020 - they won’t be #1 in the namtion any more. I guess Iowans thought they were voting for a Sunday School teacher. Jimmy Carter was a Sunday School teacher. It doesn’t matter in the long run - Iowa will go to the communist party in the general election anyway.
