2/1/16

Posted on 02/01/2016 3:07:17 PM PST by markomalley

A search shows that nobody's opened up a live thread for tonight's caucuses. So here goes.

Predictions? For both the GOP and Dem nominations?

Eyewitness Accounts? See any funny business going on?

By the time this is all over, it will turn out that there were more people waiting in line for the caucuses than there are in Iowa’s whole population.

Do you have some caucus information that the rest of us (including the Iowa Republican Party) don’t have?

The RCP average has Trump and Clinton within the margin of error.

Thats a pretty strong statement. I know I have a soft spot for Rush as I’ve grown up with him. I think he is an artist and he is a guy so yes there is a lot of B.S but brother Rush has brought many of converts into the fold.

That’s because Trump was using the left’s arguments to promote socialized medicine yesterday and Rush sees government as the problem not the solution.

I’d rather Hillary in the general than Bern. Those hipster socialists will tune out and Trump will shred Hillary.

I know it goes against the conventional wisdom, but I kind of feel the same way. I fear that Sanders could be a repeat of Obama 2008 with hordes of mindless "youth" coming out in droves because he is a "cool" socialist and is promising free college. While Hillary will probably be a repeat of Kerry 2004, a boring mainstream democrat who the youth quickly tune out and go back to sleep, she will get the old feminists and the minorities (but less than Obama) and that's it.

Wait until Rush sees his show turn into Beck’s v2.0.

I thought he was a smarter businessman until the last couple of days.

Unfortunately he’s used to telling his audience what to think, much like NRO.

Yep. Can confirm via the link that Evangelicals are generally breaking 26%-26% Cruz/Trump. If true, Cruz is in trouble.
