Just curious - what in the world did the priest have against a color (purple)???! Just curious. He sounds really weird , frankly. God made purple along with the rest of the rainbow - as a good sign for us all.
I don’t believe the Bible’s reason for fasting is to punish ones self. I think it has more to do with purification, but in any case, it sure isn’t anything near chopping ones limbs off.
That's the purpose of being a priest; to make people feel guilty about something. Then they get to offer you the way out: just sacrifice that goat, or pay the collection, or go "witness" to someone else.
It's a protection racket.
Mohammedanism is a hellish, murderous cult. Just consider how many of today’s negative news stories have some connection with it.
