I totally agree. I believe of the remaining candidates, Trump is the ONLY one who will affect any real reforms. I was merely commenting on the fact that Iowa could go for Rubio. Iowa is almost always wrong in who they select so I don’t put any weight on the results there.

We went for many years listening to Rush just about every
day. After his backing of NAFTA and his enabling Obama
to beat Hillary, plus some of his naughty bits and comments,
we stopped. Partly because we weren’t on the road as much.
Retired. - Now, we listen in when we are on the road. I
realize no one is perfect, and I still like Rush.
I’ve said that Cruz needs to update his “image”. Even
George Washington had to suffer wooden false teeth and a
powdered wig, plus tight clothes and uncomfy shoes; and
there wasn’t even TV back then. - Cruz’s slicked back
greasy looking hair and tight black polyester suits just
don’t work all that well. - This morning, someone had
evidently put a blond streak in the front of his hair that
looked pretty bad. (Twinkie knows she hasn’t room to talk;
but she isn’t running for anything either.)

I used to love Cruz but now see he is just another career politician. He’s a genius but never realizes he’s a Canadian citizen, super power of photogenic memory but forgot to file two bank loans with low interest, says he turned down Obamacare and his family without coverage, outright lie.

I still like Rush as well. I just don’t trust him like I used to.He didn’t need to get away from fair and balanced it was a bad move no matter what the excuse.

I really haven’t listened to Rush now for quite some time unless I’m in my car. I gave up my subscription to 24/7 when it came up for renewal and don’t have a radio on in the house.
I also quit my newspaper years ago and haven’t watched network news or even FOX news since election night 2012.
I’m just as informed as I ever was but without the daily stress of being bombarded with all the negativity. Life is too short. Since retiring, I want to enjoy life more and stress less.
I come to read this thread from time to time to find out what Rush listeners have to say.
Yeah I heard that caller. I believe a lot of Cruzers here at FR will sit home and allow Hillary or Sanders to win rather than vote for Trump.
