I never thought I would be so happy to see “The Sunday Morning Talk Show Thread” as I am this morning!!! I am so sick of the majority of postings on Free Republic these past couple of weeks. Everyone, of course, is 100% entitled to their personal and political opinions.....but there has been so much useless ‘blabber” put forth on this wonderful site!!! I am hoping that after the Iowa Caucus concludes....the useless blabber will stop.

Of course, IMHO, the blabber on the TV news media is sometime even worse, filled with lies and misstatements galore across the board. The good news concerning a lie telling media is most folks, already have their number, and, pay little heed to anything they say!!! The best farce was the Fox campaign to tell us how good their debate was minus Donald Trump. Here’s the facts: The first Fox News Channel debate drew 24,000,000 viewers....this recent FNC debate was down 50% to 12,500,000 viewers, a massive failure!!! In fact: Trump with his “Veterans Rally” drew about 14,000,000 viewers from CNN, MSNBC, C-Span, OAN Numerous Live Feeds, etc. So much for FNC!!!

I am hoping that sanity returns To Free Republic, but....then again, who knows what lurks in the hearts and minds of the people in the American Republic that gave this country Barack Hussein Obama as POTUS!!! I sincerely hope that most Americans have learned you do not put an enemy of the American state and nation as its POTUS!!!

thanks for that info. was looking for it, but couldn’t find it. Fox is also failing to cite how Cruz was ahead, and is now 5 points behind. Instead they are using the within striking distance/margin of error meme.

They must forget some of have memories and see through the deceit.

If Trump wins, on of the reason twill be the tactics used by the other candidates, their supporters and the Conservative media establishment like NRO, Erick Erickson, Town Hall, etc.

Attacking Trump supporters for supporting Trump as being low intelligence white trash racists was really really stupid politically. Screaming insults at people then expecting them to listen to anything you have to say was stupid.

Better tactics would of been to praise the way Trump beats the media, thank him for “parting the Red Sea of Media bias” and making the campaign about issues that are important to average voters. State “I really like Trump but am worried that he will follow through on his promises. I have a hard time trusting Trump”.

The Conservative media MIGHT of had some effect on Trumps support IF they had made a rational case on “can we trust Trump: instead of following the Leftist’s Media’s SOP of the infantile snark and the bile laced personal attack.

The result is the barrage of attack on Trump have merely hardened his support and caused his people the Conservative media MIGHT of been able to sway to simply stop listening to the attackers.
