-snip-
Jeb Bush's brother George W. Bush won the presidency twice, but left office seven years ago with withered approval ratings. And Jeb Bush was less expansive in talking about his sibling.
"I guess George is more disciplined," Bush told a crowd of about 100 potential voters. "I'm probably a little more cerebral."
Then, with a take-me-as-I-am shrug, he made a reference to his much-mocked campaign logo, Jeb!, which notably avoids his famous last name.
"I'm Jeb. Exclamation point," he said with a chuckle. "What can I tell ya?"

Jeb had a plan.
It could have worked if everything broke his way.
Two things messed it up:
Trump and Sanders
“I’m Jeb. Exclamation point,” he said with a chuckle. “What can I tell ya?”
That you’re feeling bit entitled and narcissistic?
The third problem is Jeb himself ... with or without the exclamation point.
What a putz!
Take out Trump and Sanders. I still don’t see a man with that last name and a big poy of money beating most of the field, splintered as it was. Carson would take him out in the south, Christie in the northeast, Rubio in Florida. Walker might have even gotten traction in that scenario. The frustration and anger with all things Bush would have concentrated on fewer candidates. As it is, the job isn’t done. John Ellis Bush for 1% in Iowa!
For sure.
Any plan that hinges on Democrat crossover voters in a primary tells us the R candidate is bad news.
I am Groot!
He is more like Jeb Ellipsis (Jeb...)
What ensues is ambiguous, irrelevant, what-you-will.
Well the plan was
1) the R field would be heavily split
2) Hillary had no opposition
3) Dems cross over in R primaries to install the softest target for November (Op Chaos Dem-style)
It could have worked, but only in a very unique set of circumstances

NOW, out of desperation, he is trying to holler... CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW!!!
Did he say that in English or Spanish.
"I am Groot."
Every time he says something, he gets more pathetic and unlikeable. JMHO
Wel... Isn’t that just, special...
4) we would’ve been told to vote for “the lesser of two evils”.
I think it was Spanglish!
If candidates were punctuation marks, Trump would be the exclamation point, and Jeb would be the hypnen (minus).
