There is something odd going on with the ratio between boys and girls in Sweden. The latest estimates suggest there are 123 boys for every 100 girls among 16 and 17-year-olds. That's an even greater imbalance than in the same age group in China.
The natural "sex ratio at birth" is 105 boys for every 100 girls, according to the World Health Organization - and official statistics show that in 2014, there were 108 boys for every 100 girls among Sweden's 16 and 17-year-olds.
But the country now has 123 boys for every 100 girls in this age group, according to Valerie Hudson of Texas A&M University.
If this is correct, it will be quite something. China's one child policy and a preference for sons led some couples to opt for sexually selective abortions, contributing to a sex ratio there of 117 boys for every 100 girls aged 16 and 17.
Hudson's estimate for Sweden was calculated by adding asylum applicants in 2015 to the current population figures - and she is provisionally assuming that all applicants will be granted residency permits. The number of those who actually receive asylum will not appear in official population statistics for another year or so.

"But in Nordic [countries]... a very big amount of those who are tested do not have the correct age. Some friends of mine, who have taken care of these unaccompanied refugees, are saying, 'We took care of one kid, and we found out he was about 28 years old.'"
Grown men posing as unaccompanied children to receive greater welfare benefits and the Swedes are just letting them in.
Sex-selective abortions might have a role, along with the invasion by Muslim male “teens” of near military age.
Sweden does not have sex selective abortions. They are just a nation who has collectively gone insane and lets all these unsolicited immigrants in, who are all male and claim to be 17 and half years old.
I think 200 years without wars and several generations of very easy life messes people up.

Can I disagree please. As with every other western country - Denmark, Germany, France UK, USA et al - the Government has gone insane, not the population at large.

Sweden is different from the other countries (Germany is also different because of their Nazi guilt). The people at large are insane in Sweden and Germans are also pretty weird, but in a different way. These two countries stand out in Europe by being insane. Danes on the other hand are among the sanest people in Europe and their government is pretty OK too.
If you base your assessment on what the friends of yours were then your sample is a selected group as the insane ones would not become your friends.
I haven’t lived in these places, so I have less direct contact, but on the other hand people living in the USA also have wildly different ideas of what is what. I have lived in Finland and what effectively is Sweden in Finland (with a vengeance) called Ã…land Islands.

Maybe you were in a class they thought will be gifted? There are always more men in these classes.
No, I’m not that special. I should have been more specific: My GRADE was 3/5 male. It shows at graduation, when they pair boys with girls until the end, when pairs of guys bring up the rear because of the imbalance.
