While I don't like the tactic, it is not something new. Both Democrats and Republicans, liberal and conservative groups have used these types of letters in past elections

"They’re public records. If someone is playing Big Brother it’s whoever passed the law making the records public."

You're correct that it's legal if in fact it was the Cruz campaign that did it. But if it's a "false flag" operation trying to embarrass Cruz, that's different. The voting records are easy to get in my state (Colorado).

Thanks for the info. I knew it had been used before, that’s why it isn’t a BFD like some portray it.

Funny how this is making a big splash, but when Obama did it, the press wouldn’t touch it. No outrage.

That said, what a massive mistake.

It’s a bfd coming from the most conservative candidate in the history of conservatism. Then again, Cruz has not had me fooled for quite some time now. He is a fake.

The only person who is “fake” is the Donald.
Records don’t lie, even if his supporters are blind.

I hope you can vote for Cruz in Iowa because he is going down after that, along with any chance you have to vote for him.

Yeah, yeah....whatever.

If Trump is the nominee, it will be 2008 - 2012 all over again. Say hello to the Democrat President.

You're at post 912 on this thread and still think it's a set-up? It's been confirmed, many times.

The unintended consequence is that now some of the actual spoof Cruz ads seem more believable.

I do have a solution to Ted’s “Canadian dilemma”. After President Trump finishes the wall with Mexico... we will have to start thinking about the Northern border. The Canadian wall would have to be over twice as long and go through much more difficult terrain and stand up to much harsher weather conditions. Plus there are only a quarter as many Canadians as Mexicans and most of them have good manners, public restroom hygiene and most aren’t trying to sneak into the United States anyway. Obviously a wall between Canada and the United States isn’t going to be nearly as cost effective.

I propose we just convert Canada into three states, French Canada, Middle Canada, and West Canada. A few Canadians would probably object. Sure there are many liberals in Canada, but they are mostly Minnesota or Wisconsin liberal not California, Colorado, or East Coast liberal. That means that many are not complete lost causes.

I m certain that if we promised to call all natural born Canadians natural born Americans that most of the Canadian Parliament would go along with the plan. Face it in Canada the glass ceiling for politicians is pretty low. The state of California has more people. Many Canadian politicians besides Ted Cruz have aspirations to be the leader of the free world.

"There is so much digital election fraud, one wonders whether it’s worth it. For example, I used to live in the Phila suburbs. The inner city election workers publicly stated that they would always wait to report the numbers until their bosses made the call to them, telling them what # to report. Their bosses waited until the rest of Penna. reported, then Phila and Pittsburgh would report. Time after time, more people “voted” than actually lived in the precincts."

This is the "Chicago River Ward" strategy. The Democrats (who taotally control Cook County and Chicago) make sure the precincts in Chicago are tiny, every itty-bitty church or school or even some businesses host a voting precinct. There are many hundreds of precincts in which no Republican judge or poll-watcher is ever assigned. So after the polls are closed, and they get the word as to how many "extra" votes they need, they just look to see who didn't show up to vote and the precinct workers (all faithful Democrats) vote "on their behalf." That's how some dead people always show up as having voted. But how does one "investigate" this practice, when the investigators themselves are caught in he web, owing their very job to some Democrat party honcho?

The (secondary) fault lies with the Republicans never signing up to be election judges. The City employees (all part of the Democrat machine, hired or their party and personal loyalties), all get the day off (with full pay) and are ordered to work the polls.

Yeah right as if Trump is a Muslim or Muslim sympathizer. You make no sense. Obama ran on hope and change, to fundamentally transform America. Trump wants to make America great again, and he is uniquely qualified to do just that, at this crucial time.

“Isn’t caucusing public? If you don’t show up, your neighbors notice that, don’t they?”

Uh, no. Obviously you are not from one of the few caucus states. I am: Colorado. And I attend caucus. Here, caucuses are by voting precinct. Only a VERY tiny percentage ever show up at caucus; a dozen per precinct would be a BIG turnout.

AND, not only do I usually not know the few people who DO show up, but I probably only know a couple of people TOTAL in the whole precinct, which btw, I don’t even know what the physical boundaries are for my precinct.
