I haven’t been watching the Republican debates because of Trump.

Got 11 million to 13 million viewers, compared with 25 million viewers for the August debate.

Looks like the pool of viewers split down the middle. CNN got 18 million viewers for its December debate.

“I haven’t been watching the Republican debates because of Trump.”

Actually, substance wise, last nights debate proved better without him.

8.4 is terrible for Fox News. It’s great for Fox Business, which nobody has, but for Fox News, it’s a total joke.

I know, it was more like a debate and less like a reality tv show. The political nerd in me enjoyed last nights debate more.

Steady as in 2nd lowest debate ratings..yes ok.

I think FOX is going to see their numbers decline across the board. Unless some Dems start watching...

This can’t be so! Just ask any trumpee. It was a wonderful bully free debate. The media missed the Cruz joke about about the questions and leaving the stage if there were more mean questions. It was funny.
Most of the candidates looked good.

I would second that opinion, as well as expressing how great the live thread was without all the poo-throwers... It felt like FreeRepublic for a minute there...

Steady?

Faux got 25 million in the last debate.

Got 11-13 million last night.

For those that passed their math class that is close to half of their
first debate.

Average would be the word I would use to describe numbers.

What new material was discussed ? Looking back on the time Trump was allowed to speak at other debates it’s amazing that he’s no accused as preventing “depth of discussion”

What was discussed in dept last evening that was new?

This is true. However the media wants to cut it, bottom line is 11-13 million voters didn’t watch and that’s largely due to Trump. He does have a yuuuge following.
