Halperin: White House Buzzing About FBI Investigation of Hillary Clinton
The Weekly Standard ^ | JAN. 29, 2016 | By DANIEL HALPER

Posted on 01/29/2016 6:58:18 AM PST by Hojczyk

Bloomberg's Mark Halperin reported this morning on MSNBC that the White House is buzzing about the FBI's investigation of Hillary Clinton. Halperin also said that the FBI will likely interview Clinton.

"Yeah," said Bloomberg's Mark Halperin, "well, there are three things people are keying off of.

There's a lot of chatter amongst FBI agents, many of whom have never been big fans of the Clintons, but a lot of FBI agents seem to be saying something is happening here.

Second is, from a legal point of view, you look at some of the recent developments we've talked about here on the program, it's hard to see how the Justice Department, the FBI, doesn't want to interview Secretary Clinton. And that interview alone, short of an indictment, short of anything else, that would be a huge political development and would undermine confidence in some Democrats in the notion of going forward with Secretary Clinton.

And the last thing is, there are some people in the White House are starting to talk about this. It's not clear whether they know what's happening or it's just their intuition but the body language among some Obama administration officials is, this is more serious and something is going to happen. Again, the timing of it could be if not cataclysmic pretty bad for Secretary Clinton if Senator Sanders is still alive."

Obama just wants a cut of the Clinton Foundation

“There will not be an indictment.”

What if her release of information(i.e. sold for cash) caused our assets overseas to be exposed and eliminated? (Which I believe happened).

Not to mention the incalculable financial damage done.

It's going to be tough to keep a lid on this thing.

Do you think the possibility of Hussein 0bama's appointment to SCOTUS in a Hillary administration might be the price of pulling the plug on any investigation?

I've thought about that. But I've also wondered whether Obama would really want such a dry job. Sure he could delegate most of the work to grunts. He may want something more radical.

I don’t think the FBI is afraid of Hillary. She and Bill are no longer in the WH and don’t wield the power they once had. Could be they finally see a chance to take her down for present and past crimes.

Like I’ve said for a long time, Hillary will be taken out so that Obama can have his third term. The timing of her indictment will be late so that Obama can come in and save the day. Biden or some other stooge will run as president with Michelle as his VP.

Hillary is a very weak candidate. She has to be entirely carried by the media, like the corpse in Weekend at Bernie’s. Biden-Obama will be stronger but still not strong enough to win UNLESS massive cheating can pull them over the line.

It would be nice if this drags on until midway through the primaries and THEN the FBI or Justice acts...throwing the whole Dem machine into fits trying to scramble for a candidate.

there is perhaps some concern about what hillary has in her files.

for every ten files there are extra charges to be thrown on the pile. Pretty soon it will be longer than life

Or, if you are a real conspiracy nut it could be Donald Trump. (Just kidding, sort of).

I'm no conspiracy nut but that is a very real possibility. Trump sure did make the transition from Democrat lover to Tea-Party-hearted candidate awfully fast. I don't buy his act.

Have you ever seen one of the shakers used to mix paint? Have you ever seen one in action when the lid came off?

That’s what’s going to happen when the FBI report is released. It will be a SHTF disaster for Hillary.

If Team Obama refuses to prosecute, Democrats come across as elitists above the law: Hillary is toast.

If Team Obama does prosecute: Hillary is toast.

I doubt Team Obama (between a rock and a hard place) even knows what to do.

IMHO this is the last chance for the entire Judicial System, local, state, and Federal, to restore confidence in the entire political system.

If Hilary walks, even with a Presidential Pardon, then it will clear that there is no less than two judicial and political systems. One for the elites and one for the rest of us.

In short, the Republic is dead and we, as a nation and as a people, have regressed to Medieval Europe. At that point in history there were two different systems - a temporal one and a cannon one. If a priest violated a temporal law he couldn’t be tried by the King - only the Bishop could try him.

Remove the religious terms and what is different if Hilary walks?

The white house is afraid of those “rogue” FBI agents who are actually doing their job. They’re not afraid of what might happen to Hillary. They’re afraid of what Bill and Hillary have on Obama.

The Clintons went down without a real fight in 2008. That always surprised me. I don’t see them going away completely without taking someone down with them.

WTF? If Sanders is still alive?

I'm hoping it was mispoken and he meant "Sanders' campaign is still alive."

Do you have to be an attorney to be on SCOTUS. If so 0’s loss of license should exclude him from consideration.

Have you ever seen one in action when the lid came off?

The old ones...like the all metal Red Devil branded ones (10 years in the paint biz in another life) ...could not be made to let the cover come off the can. The whole can was held in a vice-like carriage that was screwed down by a threaded rod assembly.

The new plastic ones however, have been redesigned for quick and easy loading/unloading...so the cover is not completely covered and your vision of a monumental mess is quite possible.

Do you have to be an attorney to be on SCOTUS?

The Constitution does not specify qualifications for Justices such as age, education, profession, or native-born citizenship.
A Justice does not have to be a lawyer or a law school graduate, but all Justices have been trained in the law.

That may be the plan. Baraq has no loyalty to this country or the party that put him in power. IF this happens, the dems will be trounced in the election, but the republicans will be left with a mess too big to handle. OR baraq will create the election mess that they will drag out past election day. Sneaky way of staying in office past the legal term limit.

If she ever got indicted, jugears would issue a pardon with the priviso she leaves the race and never says a word about any of his violations.

At that point, the DRC would pick the candidate, probably Warren or Kerry. Even they know that Biden is too much a lose cannon to win. Regarding Warren, there was a reason she just dropped out of the race before the start. She may be the back drop.
