After the debate Megyn Kelly admitted to Cruz that after thoroughly reviewing his record on whether or not he supported legalization, she believes his record does support his argument that his amendments were really poison pill amendments and that he never actually supported legalization.

Thank you. I was beginning to wonder if anybody else noticed that. This is a big deal, as the media and other competitor candidates have been able to create the narrative that Cruz has flip flopped in immigration and amnesty, when he actually has not. Cruz needs to be broadcasting Kelly’s admission all this weekend. As Senator Sessions says, it was Cruz who saved us from amnesty.

They played a nasty “goatcha” debate on all the candidates last night. I think they have to try to prove they are tough to the “real” networks where they want jobs.
This is “inside the beltway” stuff. Cruz proposed an amendment to take citizenship off the table, but which would have allowed legal status. He says this was a poison pill, because the other side would have then killed the bill. Does this mean Cruz would oppose legal status as part of a compromise to get immigration reform (e.g., the wall, e-verify, deportation of criminals, etc.), I think the answer is possibly. On the other hand, we know that Rubio wants citizenship after there is “a consensus,” and that Trump is for citizenship after a “touch-back” (meaning the illegal has to go home and then apply for legal entry). We have two things going on here regarding legal status (independent of citizenship): (1) welfare. Two-thirds of illegals are on welfare. It’s bankrupting our border communities. (2) jobs. Immigrants, legal and illegal, are hurting the middle-class by driving down wages. So, welfare reform, tax reform and repeal of Obamacare have to be part of the picture. We need a flat tax with a generous zero-bracket so our middle class can take home more of their pay, and we need health insurance to be affordable. The middle class is being crushed.

Cruz advocates in creasing H1-B visas by 500,000. There are already an estimated 650,000 H1B visa workers in the USA. (The gov doesn't even know how many)
The H1-B visa is for the $70,000-$100,000+ jobs like engineering and computer/technical---the so-called "STEM jobs."
As you can see Cruz's plan, which is the plan of the globalists, ALL STEM (i.e., "GOOD") Jobs will be filled mostly by Indians very soon. If the government says 500,000 you know they mean 1.5 million.
There are thousands of qualified UNEMPLOYED stem workers in every city, in every MSA, in every market. They range from young unemployed or underemployed college grads to middleaged people "let go" by their employer to be replaced by an H1-B Indian.
These are the jobs and the people where the corporation requires the American to TRAIN the Indian to do his/her job, and if the American refuses, that American will lose his severance or even pension!
THIS is the GLOBALIST future of America. Cruz is pro Amnesty and has NEVER EVER backed off the 500,000 increase in H1-B visas. These are not the lettuce pickers. These are the American MIDDLE CLASS.
