Missed seeing DAV; will read list again. Still support DAV because of my WWII dad, wounded near Pisa in Italy. I remember the DAV magazine coming regularly in the mail in the 50's.

Better than most people know. If you are a Vet and need a ride to Vet hospital and don't have a way to get there the DAV will come by and pick you up and take you there and back. No Charge.

I have two friends that are vets and they volunteer one or two days a week to drive the DAV van picking up Vets and taking them back and forth to the hospital.
