The real opponent is and has always been the biased media. Trump’s slapping them silly, the rest come off as weak and apologetic any time the media targets them. Trumps deliberate and effective strategy is to hit back, as exampled by the Megyn Kelly saga. His response is not kneejerk it’s deliberate. And it’s working. A winner

I like Cruz, smart, but bad judge of circumstances and a bit of a tin ear. The early ‘joke’ regarding Trump’s rhetoric which fell completely flat; earlier debate and ‘New York values’ the latter particularly a huge softball for Trump to emasculate him - and that’s how Cruz appeared when Trump had him clapping like a seal in embarrassment.
The MO by the establishment was to try to embarrass Cruz and also that Cruz would use his own rhetorical weapons to attack Trump and hurt him for his non-appearance. The latter didn’t work but I thought held his own from MK’s pathetic attempt to embarass him. Here again he was being used and manipulated.
