I couldn't tell if one of the guys in the midst of the vehicles had a rifle, or a video camera right on the action.
No audio, either.
The guy that holding something unidentified switches it from one hand to another.
You don't do that with a handgun or a rifle.
Yeah, he's got it held up to his right eye, switches hands and uses his right hand to motion the other guys up to the action after the shooting.
I'm almost positive it's a hand-held video camera, and he's 25 feet away from Finicum.
If it's a camera, he got it ALL, with audio.
He looked like he was pulling for his gun, several times.

Perhaps instead of just wearing it around, he should have practiced the thumb break and pull a few times. He would be just as dead. But it would be clear to you guys.

I have not seen the video, but I have read several accounts. My thought is that Mr. Finicum made movements that could reasonably be interpreted as reaching for a weapon.
I think the situation could likely have been resolved without a killing, but it is plausible as a justified shooting.
My opinion might change when I see the videos. It is likely that is more video will come out.

He was getting Tased and shot. That's probably why he dropped his hands - to grab at the place(s) where he was wounded.

I think a Taser got into his back. Look at the shooter on the left, coming out of the woods.
I couldn't figure out why the shooter didn't have a long gun - because that's what I would have had.
It's because he's got a Taser.

What’s the functional difference between getting no answers now, and spending 4 years and millions of dollars to get a giant report filled with no answers (the only result of any “special investigation” ever)? Nothing will be done, right or wrong the people who shot him will walk away clean.
