Thursday on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," host Joe Scarborough reacted to an interview hosted by Fox New Channel's Bill O'Reilly on the network's "The O'Reilly Factor" a night earlier with Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump.
Scarborough mocked O'Reilly, who begged Trump to reconsider his decision not to appear in the network's GOP presidential debate in Des Moines, IA scheduled for later tonight.

Plus, Joe is right on this one. It was actually creepy watching BOR literally BEG Trump for at least 10 minutes to come back on the FNC debate. BOR used every emotional trick in the book, including their long term friendship. Naturally, nothing worked because Trump has a powerful will that can't be beaten down by such tactics, a will that almost ALL of our weakling politicians lack.

Fox is pushing the meme that viewers will settle who needs who. But it’s a false argument because many will tune in out of curiosity.
Do they count someone who tunes in at beginning but then switches? If so, curiosity will give Fox the ratings.

Fox walked into their own, carefully constructed, trap.
It was a FOX trap - they tried to get Kelley to set the Trap on Trump in the first debate and it backfired and they wanted a second go before the vote. Kelley was so giddy about it she tweeted that after the debate it would change the GOP race.
Fox has Muslim chick lined up to fire at Trump.
Wonder if remaindeers will be crawling all over themselves to proclaim loyalty to Sharia and peaceful Muslims.
I completely agree, I could only listen to the exchange, but in a way it made it even more clear how very hard Bill worked for his network to bring the big guy around.
As you said, every emotional trick in the book, including “OK, I’m moving on”, and then a twist back to appeal to a different emotion. You go to church? Right, what about forgiveness? Why don’t you go to Kelly and tell her you forgive her and everything will be alright?
Sure Bill, and why doesn’t FOX drop the anti Trump bias and argue for the open borders position in the open.

Exactly. In the war between Trump and Fox, Fox has taken the initiative all the way. They have bashed Trump five times a day, and then they're "surprised" when he bashes them back! "What childish behavior," they scream. "Why doesn't he just sit there and take it?"
That is so true! And the mainstream media has no idea how hated they are. They are held in low regard along with politicians and (some) supreme court justices.
