On today's program, Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-AR) and Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) confirmed they are willing to attend Trump's event tonight at Drake University. Asked if he would attend, Huckabee admitted, "we've put in a call to [Trump's] people and said that I'd be delighted to come." Though he has not heard back, Huckabee said, "if they say that they would be happy to have me, I'll be there."
Santorum expressed an equal willingness to attend Trump's event tonight, revealing, "after the debate I'm not going to be doing anything, so, I guess, if it's a charitable thing for the troops and he invites other people to come, I certainly would attend to support the troops." However, the former senator admitted he has not yet received an invitation.

Santorum won Iowa, his tacit endorsement is considerable, unlike a glen beck endorsement.
One of those things that works on the subconscious. You can be sure all be careful to avoid any statement that could possibly be read as support for Trump.

For any folks out there in Low-IQVille and Low-InformationVille, this should signal that the two grovellers & sycophants (angling to be considered as a VP candidate) HUCKABEE & SANTORUM should be the last two that ANYONE should consider, let alone select, as their running mate.
Which is why Santorum lost to “Where in the World is” Bob Casey...? Santorum’s endorsement of Snarlin’ Arlen Specter cost him many, many votes among Pennsylvania conservatives.
So, any Anchor Baby can be President. Viva America!

Yeah I understand where you are coming from. In my own case, the ONLY person I ever trusted 100% was my father. Even my mother had her favorites in the family.
So all people we meet in life, no one can be trusted 100%.
That said, at age 70 and enough money so next 100 generations of Trumps will EACH inherit $100 Million, I can not visualize what is driving him except patriotism.
I would be more impressed if they skipped their undercard debates. They risk nothing, and look like opportunists by attending both.
This is to raise money for veterans.
I’ve heard of some vets organizations that don’t like the politics involved. They can easily solve that by insisting that they will not confirm or deny any donation to their group.
If I had a wounded warrior family member needing an arm or a leg or a track chair, and I heard that some holier than thou organization refused the money to get me one, I’d want their heads on a platter for playing politics with my life.
Their campaigns do need attention, wherever they can get it. State fairs, debate circuses, whatever. ;-)

I have a special hate for Santorum, since I blame him for destroying destroying most of the real conservatives in the 2012 race.
Trump would be safer sleeping with a viper than to cozy up to Santorum.
