It appears as though Rupert Murdoch gave Roger Ailes the go ahead to put Aile’s old friend in his place, and Ailes decided his memo was the way to do it. Trump sees the message and decides it is time to call the bluff and suck the oxygen out of the debate while keeping his campaign in the forefront of the public’s attention.
