“Google and Fox announced Tuesday afternoon that an anti-Trump Muslim advocate, Nabela Noor, would be allowed to play a role in the debate. She was apparently chosen by Youtube, with help from the RNC and Fox. African American, Mark Watson, and Latino, Dulce Candy will also join the moderators in the debate to ask the candidates a question on an issue that matters to them and their communities.”

Trump did the right thing to avoid the Fox ambush set-up.

This is a common challenge from someone who is down in the polls.

The one who is lower always challenges the one who is higher.

The one who is higher ignores it, or points out the reason.

They never debate.

Cruz is whistling in the dark using this tactic.

One of the two of them is going to win Iowa. This would be very useful, to Iowa and the nation.

Donald will never do it. Too much ego.

And there’s the rub. Why should Trump bother debating Cruz when Cruz could be taken out at any point over his citizenship status. Waste of time until Cruz gets a court opinion, and the fact he is unwilling to do so, indicates Cruz knows he’s on dangerous ground.

You’re right Did see later they have one scheduled on ABC. My bad - There are entirely too many debates Guess RP must spread these all around to the different networks so everyone of them will be equal in stature and each have their own time to be joining in their attempt to belittle our RNC candidate. Rinse and Repeat is nothing more than a shill who has been feeding the lions in the arena allowing them to feast on our candidates. What would you call him?

I see Priebus and the RNC as power brokers in an insider’s club. I see it as you do, all efforts are to discredit Trump and Cruz in the eyes of the voters.

Rush saying those exact words this AM How RNC pulled out of NBC debate after NBC went after Cruz. Where was RNC on this Fox fiasco? They were willing to leave TRUMP hanging from a tree without a horse or even a step stool. GO TRiUMPh

I wouldn’t elect a recent Canadian as POTUS.

Hey maybe the Grey Cup winning Edmonton Eskimos would enjoy visiting the White House too.

I would elect the natural-born citizen part of Ted Cruz president.

I would rather see Trump and Cruz join forces against the common enemy of media, establishment Republicans, liberals, and democrats. Instead of debating each other, I’d rather see them “debate” the positions, tactics, and activities of the real enemy. At the end of campaign only one will be the Republican candidate, and the greatest blessing would be if they jointly opposed the evil that has been running rampant.

Until a couple of weeks ago I was hopeful that was what was occurring. Now, not so much. Maybe after the primaries cooler heads will prevail.

I would still like to see an actual debate between Trump and Cruz though.

So far there have been no debates. You can only have a real debate with two or maybe three people. With a half dozen or more people on a stage all you have are candidates competing for 5 second sound bites at a staged media event.

Sure some of the sound bites are entertaining and you may be able to gleam a bit about how the candidates will do in a general election debate with Hillary, but there is no opportunity to discover what any of the candidates really believe or their actual positions on substantive issues.
