With republicans solidly in control of the house tell me again why trump has to work eith Democrat house leadership? There are ways of working around democrats in the Senate. Unless there is a powershift in the house or senate there is no need to cut deals with the democrats. Replublicans ca pass whatever they want.

When I hire someone to do a job for me, I expect to get the full truth from them upfront about what they are going to do and how they’re going to do it. Promises and assertions to trust me trust me, don’t cut it.

Rush actually said that Trump is framing everything as a Deal and that Trump knows the art of the Deal and wins at dealing. Makes sense to me.

Trump’s boycott of Fox News seems like a move to the middle to me.

Trump has the right idea here, choosing instead to hold a benefit event for wounded veterans at the same time in a bid to trash Fox’s ad revenue and viewership in that time slot.

I posted this after I thought about it some more:

Trump probably realizes that there is not much more to be gained at a debate. Skipping the debate makes a far bigger statement than any canned sound bite. All of the sound bites have been used and we are getting pretty sick of hearing them. It is like a 9 month pregame show before the Super bowl. Too much pre-game.

"How much money did the gay elite donors in New York give Cruz?"

I don't know. How much did they give him?

You might be right. That’s the only possible explanation for Rudy doing something so terminally stupid.

In fairness to Rush, he did say this in a very short segment.

Rush spent half his show saying we don't want to work with Democrats.

I wonder how you pass legislation without Democrats, Rush?

If you have not read Art of the Deal, you will not understand what Linbaugh was saying. He was touting Trump as a Democrat lover, he was talking about making deals the correct way. Giving your opponent all they want and walking away with a good feeling us not a deal, it is total surrender. This has been the Republican process. Trump will change that.

You realization is not grounded in facts. Pure emotion. That is a liberal trait.

At the very least, he believes he’s the current front runner and he knew his boycott is what everyone would be talking about before, during and even after the debate. Plus, he doesn’t have to risk exposing his shallow, squishy “positions” on live TV yet again.

Trump told US-WTP yesterday or the day before - an overwhelming MANDATE would be needed to jump start the process in making America great again. It's not just a movement; it must be a MANDATE, so get out and votee!! This might have been said at hs Marshalltown Iowa town hall last night - not certain which venue, but do remember in the mind's eye he was seated while telling America that we must give him a MANDATE. Who said Republicans are "solidly in control of the House" ? What the Hell have they done ? What does "solidly in control" even mean when they just finally, as the election year starts, got around to sending Barry a bill to repeal BarryCare for him to veto instead of having spent the past few years sending that bill up every week ?

Tell me, how much did they cut the King Barry budget down?

You're confused, you think all those guys who say they're Republican actually are. They're not, they're opportunistic, lawyers, who will be whatever they have to be in order to live very, very, well at taxpayer expense. A dozen or more of them would change parties if the polling said that was the way to hang onto their seats and they along with another few dozen will fight anything a Republican President does that takes so much as a crumb away from their personal piece of the pie.

We need the House and Senate solidly in control of Patriotic Americans, not the scum you claim are Republicans and I don't give a damn what they call themselves.

Prove it. Show me one political deal Trump has made where he won by getting all of the conservative positions he wanted. Just one. That's all I ask to be convinced...

The more I think about this move the more it seems like a smart thing to do. Most people are sick of debates and canned responses. There are people on the stage with 1 percent which are like little dogs biting your heals. It gets him attention and shows him to be a deal maker in yet another way.

I think we are all sick of the pre-game show and are ready for the kickoff!

Would love Ruah to come out and endorse Ted Cruz, but he has said not in Primaries.
His brother David has basically done so though...
