For Donald Trump, in some ways, Ted Cruz "looks like a jerk."
The heated personal rhetoric directed by Trump at Cruz cranked up another few degrees on Tuesday morning, with the Manhattan business mogul unloading on his Republican rival in back-to-back morning show interviews.

Trump sounds more like Don Rickles than a presidential contender.
Then there’s the time he went after Mary Katherine Ham because he misunderstood what she said. He insulted her intelligence for his mistake. At the time she was a newly widowed, 38 weeks pregnant, and had a toddler at home. Classy.
For someone who is so confident in the polls, this is beginning to sound an awful lot like desperation.

Trump takes no prisoners. Anyone who has observed 15 minutes of this campaign ought to know that.
It was quite ok when Cruz tore into Trump and rashly wrote off New York’s 29 electoral votes with his ‘New York Values’ comment, now the Cruz supporters are all atwitter and chortling, thinking that Trump’s comments are going to turn it around for Cruz.
Enjoy your fantasies for 6 more days, and prepare for a major case of butt hurt on the night of February 1st, and don’t forget who advised you thusly.
No, Cruz was brilliant in working with Donald to clear the field so that only two non-establishment candidates remained: Cruz and Trump.
That was the deal.
It worked.
Now, they come to the part where they have to take on each other. As planned.
