I have no words. I am coming to oppose the death penalty because there is too much corruption in law enforcement and too much human error, but these men have earned it if every anyone has.

Actually, I kind of agree with Justice Sotomayor. She doesn’t agree with the Kansas Supreme Court, she says the court never should have agreed to take up the case in the first place.

Basically all nine justices agreed these prisoners should get the death penalty.

if you murder someone, you relinquish the right to breathe.
It has nothing to do with deterrence. eye for eye is a very, very old legal concept.

The media managed to suppress news of the Wichita Massacre to the point most people have never heard of it. The death penalty is too good for these bastards.

They didn’t just murder their victims. They tortured them for hours. Then they murdered them.
To: heartwood
I say butcher them three-fold back what they gave their victims.
It’s biblical.

Some people are so inhuman no words can describe them.
Executing them doesn’t even begin to inflict justice on them because death is too good for them.
Which pales in comparison to the monstrosity of their wickedness.
That said, we need to be protected from the likes of them and capital punishment is needed to keep the rest of us safe.

I consider Wichita to be the Kansas city of evil. My husband has two elderly cousins that we visit once a year or so but other than that I will not go to that town.

Why doesn't their cheerleading headline read instead,
"In a boon to capital punishment supporters,
Supreme Court reinstates 3 death sentences"?
Because it's the LA Times.

One woman survived from the bizarre occurrence of her hair clip deflecting a bullet. Isn’t that a miracle, by the Grace of God? Possibly not only to save her life, but so that she could give testimony later?
