doubt it i haven’t been to grenada but i’ve been to many including nevis where there was a trial of a dutch man who killed his wife. i think it took sveral days for the trial then hung em. I would say if there is a trial he will hang next week. no trial (pleads guilty) hangs tomorrow. mostly former british islands still very christian and can’t stand that stuff.
maybe st vincent. you have day trips to bequia, Mayreau, union island. some great diving shnorkling. very friendly people. stop by papa spoons in cariacou. view the dock where white squall was filmed. shnorkle outside your hotel and see if you can get close to the 2 foot long parrot fish.
Youre walking with your husband. A native with a machete appears and your husband runs away to get help. The wife is raped and chopped. Does the husband have even a scratch? Something is odd here.
crush an urchin and they will come
“Glad I didnât buy it...................”
I bet you are. I worked at a place where the owner had a Diesel Cadillac, around ‘80s vintage. Every year till he got rid of it, either a new motor or new tranny. It was a pitiful piece of junk.
For the life of me I can’t understand why any American not in the military (or forced to for business) would go to any other country.
Yea, but mid 70’s you need a bag of golf tees and a couple feet of vacuum hose to fix the emission controls...
Thanks...seafood...perhaps I can eat a parrotfish...I think they are in the trigger family.
I have a cool machete that is designed like a sword; a machete blade with a hilt and hand-guard like a Napoleonic-era officer’s saber (with the eagle head on it). Isn’t curved or short like a cutlass, the blade is too thin/flexible to be a sword, and clearly stamped as a machete, but anyone seeing it would think it is a sword.
I would never visit any country where the inhabitants might cook me in a pot; just isn’t worth the risk.
don’t think you can eat them but when we were anchored in Saltwhistle Bay, Mayreau you could watch the boats sail in front of you toward tabago keys. got fresh caught red snapper and charcoal from the boat boys. best fish i ever ate. cooked while i was taking a shower at the back of the boat. Vitamin K. Cariacou has a fresh caught fish market as well on st. vincent.
Of course! I live in a large subdivision by the ocean.
However, one of the first things I saw after coming was that Filipinos will stop on the side of the street and face away while peeing. The doesn't seem to be any prohibition against it. In most places in the USA, that would get them arrested for ??? whatever???
While millions of people here live in "nipa huts", millions more live in modern houses and high-rise condos.
It's more fun in the Philippines!
My mother had a dark green with white top with T-tops. My mother got it new around 1978 or 79. The cars were awesome.
We had the car for several years and it never gave us any trouble. At 120k we rebuilt the engine and sold it for more than we paid for it..............
GM decided to make the diesel engines with gasoline engine blocks and crankshafts, pistons, etc, to save money. The diesel engines would not last under the more powerful stresses that they encountered, since true diesel engines are made from tougher materials. Transmissions could not handle the extra torque and just quit...............
We had one of those here in the US just a couple of weeks ago and I was told I was "unreasonable" to expect the dad to try to defend his child.
Murdered women reportedly from Atlanta, GA., Attractively Beautiful in opinion of resort staff. Yet, still unidentified. What’s her name??
(CNN)American tourist Jessica Colker died from an “extensive skull fracture and asphyxia,” according to autopsy results the Royal Grenada Police Force released Tuesday.
Colker, 39, was killed Sunday after being attacked by a man with a machete while walking with her husband along the beach just before noon, Sylvan McIntyre, assistant superintendent with the police force, told CNN.
A suspect is in custody in connection with Colker’s death and is cooperating with police, McIntyre said. There are no charges at this time, and police will not release his name, photo or criminal record, he said.
Colker’s body was later found on the beach, near where she was last seen, police said. McIntyre told CNN that it was his understanding her husband was unharmed.
Officials did not disclose a motive in the attack.
Colker lived in Atlanta and worked at a children’s hospital there as a physician’s assistant in anesthesiology.
“Jessica was a valued member of our children’s team,” Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta said in a statement. “We are deeply saddened by this horrific news. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family during this very difficult time.”
