True enough. But that just proves that he is willing to be co-opted by the establishment, which makes him anathema to me.
That is a perfectly normal conservative response.
He’ll cut deals that will maintain the status quo. He’s been the rope-a-dope candidate all along with his phony outsider act. This is the guy who had the Clintons at his third wedding, the tone when he married the nude model. This is the guy who funded the Clintons and praised them. He said Hillary’d make a great president. He said Bill Clinton’s obstruction of justice, perjury, and sexual harassment was unimportant. Never has there been a bigger fraud in politics at this level than the never-elected-to-anything before bragging billionaire, Trump.
Trump will make deals with both parties to get what he wants and both parties have long records of what kind of deals they make. And the people generally don’t come out as the winners.
Cruz is so nasty. That’s why Trump only donates to good guys like Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer. He also donates to that classy broad Hillary.
Just GOPe rediscovering GOPe.
Objective is to win election.
Not doing stupid things like taking oath/mocking, running ads against very popular sitting Gov.
You can’t win election like this. If you can’t win you are good for debating in some college lounge.

Usually, Trump wins and the public gets screwed when Trump makes a deal. He uses eminent domain to get parking places for a casino, for example, of his values - New York values.
Obvious to me.
It is a shame he isn’t saying this kind of stuff about Hillary. He is using Cruz to make quite a distraction for her, so it seems.
All the email stuff is being stifled in the media under Trumps obnoxious attempts to poke Cruz.
I would have thought by now the email matter and The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi would have people chattering. Instead they are fussing over the latest Trump attack on Cruz.
Trump is a fusion of Machiavelli and New York values. It’s not only about winning. Lots of politicians win. Winning with an agenda conservatives can support is what matters, not winning with the Trump New York values - abortion, non-traditional values (three wives), gay marriage, pro-government, big government, crony government.
I'm in a quandary.
The only one, as far as I know, who's been NASTY is Trump.
Why nearly everybody on FR isn’t saying that exact same thing as you is a complete mystery to me. All I can think of is that people are mad and scared and are grasping for saviors.
I guess being a rich celebrity who is a master at reflecting his target audience, and who made a fortune bribing corrupt politicians is enough for about half the membership of FR these days.
Trump is a de facto ally of Clintons. He’ll care about them if they can block him, but otherwise he shares their values.
I’m just here to read the Cruz bashing posts. Carry on.
Thanks, all I can say is their isn’t enough God, guns, and guts in the values of those who support a guy like Trump, an embarrassing TV reality show host.
