Republican presidential hopeful Jeb Bush on Sunday said former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who is reportedly considering an independent presidential bid in 2016, was "a great mayor."
"Look, he's a good man," Bush said on ABC's "This Week." "He was a great mayor. He's much more liberal than I am, but he's a good person."

Bloomberg was no Giuliani, but he was certainly better than Comrade DeBloodio.

The only way he’s the nominee is if there is a fire at the convention wiping out only Trump and Cruz delegates.
Any bets? Hillary gets a prosecutor visit in early Feb, and charges are publicly processed at the end of Feb? The Dems in a state of fear that it’s strictly Bernie...suddenly open some door for Bloomberg, who enters and gets just enough delegates, with super-delegates added....to win the Dem convention, then goes onto to meet Trump?
Actually he was a great mayor. He actually LOWERED the murder and other violent crime rates in the city from where Rudy left them, which were already historic lows. By the time he left there, New York City had lower violent crime rates than a number of states.
Obviously, of course, you have guns and his pet peeves, but NYC did great under him, overall.
Yeb! thinks the sawed-off totalitarian mayor is a good man, but anyone who wants to stop the illegal alien inundation is the anti-Christ.

He was an elitist dictator, but if I was the kind of person who could live in NYC I’d probably want him to be the mayor there. His “congestion pricing” nonsense (which never came to pass) would have reserved driving in lower Manhattan for wealthy people. If they want their little kingdom there, let them go fight the Muslims when they show up in airliners to destroy their office buildings.

My feeling is that the politics of what is beneficial to NYC is irrelevant in my USA view, especially when it comes to the protections afforded to us under the Second Amendment. For Jeb to insert himself in this shows his complete lack on the pulse of distrust we in drive-by America have for the collective Federal Government establishment.
He probably is doing this because his overpriced consultant ghouls are telling him it’s good because it will dilute Democrat support for Hillary, but it also bespeaks of a complete disregard and actual hatred freedom loving, gun owning Americans have for those who want to take away our only means of defense against intrusive government that wants to enslave us.
His consultants tell him “this will ‘get’ you those independents we all seem to be fixated on.” In reality, the ‘independents’ are coddle-minded fools who have already made up their minds and only actually want their ass kissed.
$100 Million dollars is what this buttwipe has spent - for what? 2-3% in the most favorable polls? You actually think he’s supported by the best and the brightest of us? He’s a Mexican silver-spooned dilettante who never had to do any actual work a single day in his pampered life.

Bloomberg was not a great mayor. He was lucky because he ran against Mark Green and was able to get Giuliani’s endorsement. And his term limits scam was a crime. He is an arrogant, nanny-state scold and his gay lisp make him even more laughable.
