All a man needs is some opportunities in life, gain some fame, make some money, leave the ghetto, overcome white privilege and he will turn out alright.

There’s that middle name “Wayne” again.

I have no idea why people like football. For the life of me, I don't understand it.
A bunch of oversized illiterate goons playing a game designed for children.
Most of a pro football game is these retards just STANDING AROUND. There's only about 9 minutes of actual sports being played in a 3+ hour football game.
I DON'T GET IT.

Modern day gladiators ... people haven't changed much ...
Fiery wrecks at the track, blood in boxing, broken legs in soccer .. etc
We've resulted very strangely since Dad made us

I followed the Raiders in the 60s & 70s and dumped
them when they moved to LA in the early 80s. When it
came to on the field thuggery the Raiders had nothing
on the Steelers in those days.

I have no idea why people like football. For the life of me, I don't understand it.I feel the same way you do - about all spectator sports.
I used to think that my not knowing the rules of any of these sports might be responsible for their lack of appeal to me - but then I noticed that I found racing sports equally soporific - and there, there is essentially only one rule: Get across the finish line first.
Though I won't go so far as to use the term "retards," I do have the impression that the intellectual development of many "pro athletes" is a little arrested.

Fiery wrecks at the track, blood in boxing, broken legs in soccer .. etc I would hardly classify soccer as a "blood sport," and I seriously doubt that anyone goes to a soccer match in the hopes of seeing some carnage.
Still, it's one of the most-boring games I've ever seen.

Oh dear, you are right! Evidently this name has the same deleterious effect on black guys as it does on white guys.
We better find out what the Spanish version of Wayne is, people need to be warned!

I would disagree with that assessment regarding motor racing in most forms. I would hope that motor racing is ultimately a test of engineering methodology in order to advance the science of the internal combustion engine.
I see your point though that as with everything in the post modern world we live in, the cult of personalities have taken over the science. That is why since 1970 - we've been appearing to de evolve as a species
