The crowd laughed and clapped, and someone in the audience shouted out love for the candidate.

Trump's comment came during a campaign rally Saturday at Dordt College in northwest Iowa. The 1,500-seat theater completely filled, hundreds more watched his speech from an overflow room.

I’ll give you that much - he keeps saying things which push the envelope and keeps the narrative from being about his liberal positions on the issue. This is what they’ll be talking about instead of the focus on his opposition to private property rights.

Please be serious. As a former New Yorker whose kids still live in New York City we all knew exactly what he meant by "New York values." Republicans are outnumbered in the City by 7 to 1; conservatives are more like 20-1. If you don't know that, you must be incessantly looking at the floor whenever you walk, take a cab, or ride the subway.
In other words, Trump is happy that his supporter are emotional & intellectual cripples.

Honestly, it would be like if I said I believe Cruz will enforce the border with the IRS. It’s a joke, and I know it’s a joke.
