It's inevitable when my husband and I visit family these days that the subject of violence in Baltimore comes up. Often, I'm the one who raises it. But when it came up last week on a trip to see my parents in Georgia, I got my back up. I thought of the 11-hour drive south and the billboards we passed along I-81 boasting guns for sale ("A Glock for Christmas"!), and of the story my brother-in-law, who lives in Florida, told of a neighbor stopping by to shoot the breeze in his suburban driveway, a handgun holstered at the man's waist as their kids played nearby.
If you subscribe to the Baltimore Sun, you probably want to let them know this is a dumbass LIEberal idea and that you'll be reading the Washington Times FRom now on!

Gun owners need to shun non gun owners. They have no defense plans to protect your kids if something happens at their house or wherever they are. Hiding under tables and hoping they don’t find you,,or going through your day hoping evil doesn’t find you unprepared, is not a defensive strategy.
Time to roll it vack on them. Give them something to think about why gun owners will not let their kids around them.

Idiots. That database will not list the violent criminals who have guns. The non-violent people got a permit and are on a database even if they don’t have a gun.
The liberals’ goal us to take guns from non-violent citizens while leaving them in the hands of violent criminals.

The comments at the source are entertaining - especially the ones that did a cut-and-paste of Tricia’s DUI charge (she pled guilty). I hope she hasn’t been offering the neighbors’ kids any rides without first disclosing that bit of info to the parents.
Haven’t read the Baltimore Eclipse (Blight for All!) in years.
