Yeah, as another Freeper has said, Jeb is a tall, handsome guy from a rich, powerful family in a state known for its tall, gorgeous blondes and he's such a dork that he married a dwarf from Mexico.
Sometimes we are drawn to those who personify the way we think of ourselves. They become our living, breathing ‘Alter Ego’. I think Jeb has always felt a sense of ‘not belonging’, not quite fitting into’ his family.
Even though his family loves him, and Jeb remains close, I speculate that the pressures to excel and to remain in a state of excellence are strong and continuous. Think of how wealthy and deeply influential members of the Bush Family have been on American politics, starting with Prescott S. Bush, the father of GHWB.
This might shock you but not every man is attracted to big blondes. There are many reasons to criticize Columba, but height is not one of them.
