If this is isn't an example of:

"Did you really think that we want those laws to be observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against - then you'll know that this is not the age for beautiful gestures. We're after power and we mean it. You fellows were pikers, but we know the real trick, and you'd better get wise to it. There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced nor objectively interpreted - and you create a nation of law-breakers - and then you cash in on guilt. Now, that's the system, Mr. Rearden, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with."

The ATF will decide if you're breaking the law or not after the fact.

I despise "laws" like this.

I think the bottom line is; if you sell a gun you'd better go to an FFL, pay $15-35, and do background check on the buyer or potentially go to jail.

There is no power like power arbitrarily exercised.

So, how would one know if he/she is breaking the law or not? isn’t that the way the communists subjugate their citizenry? They use the threat of prosecution as a means of controlling people to get them to do what they want?

Repeal the National Firearms Act.
Repeal the Gun Control Act.
Repeal the Hughes Amendment.

Nothing less will do. Gun control is unconstitutional tyranny.

Ok. They should start with the illegal guns found in El Chapo’s place and prosecute those responsible to the fullest extent of the law.........

ATF has lots of practice interpreting laws already, this will fit right in.

Obama's executive drivel didn't change a thing. There is no "new rule." It was a restatement of the current statute.

Here is the application for an FFL: https://www.atf.gov/file/61506/download

Look at question 18a:

18a. Do You Intend To Sell Firearms Only at Gun Shows?
(If yes, do not submit application)

So according to the ATF, if you are only going to sell at gun shows, you can't get an FFL. Then the ATF is going to prosecute you for selling at a gun show???

So, another case where the law is only the law when they decide it's the law....

Obama was not the best choice.....

Will be handled on a case by case basis.

Because mass arrests are not feasible at this time...

Given how Hillary is getting a skate on a clear law, it’s pretty obvious how this will work.

If you upset the government, you are a target.

I’ve seen it any number of times.

At least they are honest this time. But again, this is what a majority of those that voted said, via their vote, that they wanted. They demanded a muslim to rule over them with an iron boot. I don’t like it but I did not vote for the bastard.
