GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee joined the growing number of Republicans criticizing rival Ted Cruz by attacking him for meeting with gay businessmen despite being a staunch opponent of gay marriage.
Huckabee on Wednesday tweeted a link to a New York Times article about the meeting, saying "I'll never play political games with my faith."
"We shouldn't say one thing for votes, and another for NYC money," he added.

Haven’t any of these candidates heard of “hate the sin, not the sinner”?
Keep in mind that this gay couple was targeted for destruction by the Left for hosting Cruz.
THAT should be the focus of the argument here: the intolerance and bullying of the social justice warrior Left.
+1
If Trump had done this, Cruz people would be screaming about “New York values”.
But Cruz does it, and it’s not a biggie?
It’s a fair point to bring up. Better Huck than Hill to have done it.
Get lost Huck, you are taking up space on my computer screen.
What about that picture of Trump with the Clintons that is posted on this site daily?
What is worse, the photo of Trump with the Clintons at a social, or Cruz exploiting a potential scenario with his small daughters to curry favor with homosexual donors?
If we had to do a list of unsavory people that Trump has done business with it will be a long, long list. Putting up tall buildings in NY and building casinos in Atlantic City aren’t the kind of jobs that bring you into business with people who are like school board members from Nebraska.
I’m sure Hillary has that list already (although she’s also on that list)
Cruz talked to them because even though he’s religious he’s consistent on a constitutional form of libertarianism that can allow for people with different beliefs to get along in our society and importantly protects the rights of Christians. Huck believes he should be allowed to tell people what to do (apparently not realizing that giving the executive branch the power to tell people what to do can and will be used against Christians)
Or as Teddy might call it..."New York Values."
Devout Christians don’t cater to sodomites for campaign money. Cruz has done this for years.

Why, I do believe that those are exactly the same.
Matthew 09:11-13
And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?
12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
You are 100% exactly right.
I don’t think the vast majority of Republicans hate homosexuals, with the understanding that the vast majority of the lives of homosexuals are ordinary, inoffensive, mundane or even laudable. What Republicans do dislike is being treated like dogs by homosexuals, who want to rub *our* noses in *their* poo, while cursing us for *our* beliefs.
Republicans dislike leftist homosexuals, mostly because of their stupid leftism. We also intensely dislike leftists *and* homosexuals trying to manipulate our children with sick politics and sick sexual behavior.
Republicans realized that like us, homosexuals live under the social contract. That is, or should be, equality before the law. But we reject “preferences based on deviancy.”
New Iowa ad is knocking Cruz for his lack of charitable contributions despite his and wife’s wealth, specifically mentioning that he ‘doesn’t tithe’.
Huckster is correct.
Every day we see the sleezy, establishment side of Saint Raphael Edward Cruz.
The latest is campaigning with the open borders kook & shamster, Glenn Beck.
Obviously not. Huck is trying to keep up with donnie but he is way behind.
Being anti gay marriage has nothing to do with being anti people.
I am very proud of Cruz. He is a shining example of the good in people.
Has anyone ever seen Cruz act like the world-class bully who puts Putin to shame?
Never. Cruz has class, brains, strong conservative principles he has always lived by.

Other candidates have the cash to shred Cruz if they so chose. They may not be able to catch Trump but they can damage Cruz enough that Trump wins, IMO.
