Hillary campaign's response to latest email revelations reveals desperation
American Thinker ^ | 01/20/2016 | Thomas Lifson

It is hard to overstate the significance of the latest revelations about the national security catastrophe caused by Hillary Clinton’s private email server.  The nation’s highest-level secrets were kept on an unsecure server that is believed to be have been hacked by multiple overseas parties.

These revelations come from the nation’s Intelligence Community Inspector General Charles McCullough III, not some partisan.  He is a nonpolitical official who was confirmed by the Senate and entrusted with keeping our intelligence agencies honest.  For those readers who have not yet familiarized themselves with the revelations, Catherine Herridge’s exclusive report at Fox News must be read.  (Incidentally, Herridge deserves a Pulitzer Prize for her ongoing coverage of this story, though given the leftist bias usually seen in the Pulitzers, this is unlikely to happen unless Hillary actually is indicted – which is now far from unthinkable.)

McCullough’s report was supplied to senior members of oversight committees in Congress, which almost certainly means that it was legislators who leaked the explosive contents to Herridge.  His letter indicates that the highest-level secrets, called “Special Access Programs” (SAP), were found in emails on the homebrew server.  These secrets are so profound that McCullough himself had to obtain special permission to read the emails that were available to hackers in the employ of foreign nations and terror organizations.

.@brianefallon says Clinton emails werent classified when sent or received accuses Intel IG of working w/ GOP to leak selectively— Andrea Mitchell (@mitchellreports) January 20, 2016

People and programs were put at risk.  We may never know who dies, and which multi-billion-dollar programs had to be junked, but such consequences are reasonably to be predicted by exposure of secrets at this level.

Intelligence Community Inspector General

Not the I.G. of the State Dept., not Congress, not the FBI.

"Right Wing Conspiracy" is as old and worn out as you are Hillary.

Drip, drip. More pressure on Obama to ditch the witch.

There’s not enough perfume in the world to cover up the stench that is Hillary. It’s gotten so bad even the maggots around her are going to start gagging.

I’m curious about who’s going to do “Let’s make a deal” for immunity first. Huma? Cheryl? The IT guy? Her old chief of staff? Someone’s going to sing to the FBI.

I wonder if some of this information is being leaked by Democrats ... so they have an excuse for dumping a candidate who they see as a tired, haggard old lesbian whose chances of winning in November seem to be diminishing by the day.

Colmbs, this morning, was claiming that the classified information was already in the public domain thereby negating the fact it was classified.

Sorry, Alan. Classified info 101 dictates that information in the “public domain” does NOT negate the classification of the information.

I'm positive he is. Not that long ago, he said he regretted not getting in the race.

Problem is, it's getting later by the day. I'm not that savvy on election laws, but I think the deadline for ballot inclusion has passed in many states.

I think Martin O'Malley may be the only D alternative to Bernie down the road. I think that's why he's still hanging around.

My cousin, who lives in DC, has lunch every month with “Dr” Jill. They’re on the board of some elite school there.

Biden has not paid states to be on the ballot and it is too late I think legally.
Sanders should have a cow.

Could the convention delegates “install” him? I’m not familiar with the laws and procedures.

I wrote about it when he dropped out and was one of the few believing there was a good chance she would be indicted.

He has time to grieve for his son
He does not get bloodied by Hillary
He rides in on a white horse (is that racist?)

Think about what is probable: Obama cannot allow a referral or indictment to go through, because she probably has enough information on him to spoil his legacy, or worse.

What then will the FBI do?

Agree too late for Joe to be on the primary ballots.
He’d have to be the beneficiary of some type behind the scenes cabal at the Dem convention.

I was wondering the same thing. If someone did not go through the primary process, but gets "drafted" at the convention, how does that work?

Just wondering....I can’t believe the SecDef would consider removing a start from Petraeus without clearing it first with the WH....so, is this the first shot across Hillary’s bow, er..ass. The comparisons..what he did, what’s she’s accused of doing are inevitable, and devastating to her
