George Will says Donald Trump bringing out Sarah Palin to endorse him is not "turning a fresh face to a promising future. We Should All Believe In Recycling, But There Are Limits"
HUGH HEWITT, HOST: I’m joined by nationally syndicated Fox News contributor and author of A Nice Little Place on the South Side, George Will. George Will, welcome back to the Hugh Hewitt Show, great to have you.
GEORGE WILL: Glad to be with you.
HH: What did you make of that?
GW: Well, I don’t think it’s the Republican Party turning a fresh face to a promising future. We should all believe in recycling but there are limits, frankly.
HH: (Laughs).
GW: I really think in the closing hours before the moment of seriousness arises, and I think it does arrive in America when people are actually confronted with a ballot and they no longer think they’re sending a message, they realized they’re sending a president, and I think this is one of the final episodes of what I hope, perhaps naively is, the silly season.
HH: Now George Will, you’re very gracious, I just mispronounced the name of your book. It’s a Nice Little Place on the North Side and I just made a baseball -- it’s just terrible -- but I’m actually mad at the Cubs because the Cubs have been trying to steal Carrasco or Danny Salazar for some Cuban outfielder who’s 23-years-old and the Indians are easily tricked and I hope you would not be betting that, George Will.
GW: Listen, the Indians are going to be really good this year.
HH: Because of that starting pitching...

Neither Bush were conservatives
And that compassionate conservatism was was crappola.
I like everything Trumps says. I get it. We all do.
I also see a guy who has spent his entire career supporting liberal causes who changed his tune 6 months ago.
His basic line is: I was lying for my entire career. I really am a conservative.
That doesn’t exactly instill trust.
Lots of people say good things to get elected. Freepers are smarter than that.
Will has been and remains an arrogant, pontificating ass who’s in love with his own voice. However, I heard Palin’s screeching endorsement of Trump on the radio this morning and had to cover my ears. She ain’t bad to look at, but God, how could you listen to that voice every day?!
George Will is a bitter old man whose talents have always been way over-rated.
I said that I didn’t say you were a die-hard Trump supporter. That answered your question; I wasn’t being “crafty”. I don’t follow your posts & have not gone back to look at them. All I know is this, I was apolitical until the late 1990s. Once involved, I became a conservative & it bothers me, here on this supposedly conservative site, that I still will may not be able to vote for a conservative candidate in the general election. I don’t believe that the country is enamored with the indictable Hillary Clinton or the socialist Sanders. OTOH, they were enamored with the 1st half-black blank slate...
My question was about Glen Beck not about me being a die hard Trump supporter.
I am also a conservative but I don’t live in la la land. After watching ‘so called’ conservatives hand Obama a second term because Romney didn’t fit their unicorn and fairy dust mold of a conservative was like being in an episode of the Twilight Zone. They would rather see the baby cut in half if they don’t get EXACTLY what they want. Well, we’ve see the results of that. The country as a whole will not be enamored with Ted Cruz either. The left will paint him to look like a far right loon equal to the Taliban. I hate it but that’s the reality of the world we live in.
The left may paint him that way especially if Trump continues his diatribes...he just said that Cruz is worse that Hillary. No one knows what we’d be getting with a president Trump, but we just may get to find out...
George Will, an eGOP RINO Uniparty DC Establishment barking dog. He would support Obama if the eGOP told him to...and he has.
Politics and politic watching certainly isn’t for the thin skinned. Time will tell. Every day there is something new.
George Will (Whom I have no use for BTW.) is not the only one. Michael Savage said that Trump needs Palin’s endorsement like he needs a hole in the head. He also claims that if Trump should choose her as his running mate then he will lose the election.
I’m not sure if it helps him. LIke Krauthammer said, it hurts Cruz.

Poor lil Georgie, he’s on the outside looking in and that is where he is going to stay. What a complete and utter fraud he’s revealed himself to be.
