Trump can offer her a job when he loses.
I think it wasn't so much a snub to the one, as a push to the other.
I'm guessing she decided he was the more likely candidate to withstand the ongoing media crucifixtion the (R) nominee will have to endure.
She presumably needs the money.
Sarah may have read the Constitution? It’s one thing to support some with dual Canadian / American citizen for Senator. But the citizenship requirement for President is stricter than for Senator.
I think it’s because of Cruz’s continuing affiliation with Glenn “the dying ember” Beck, who has stage four incurable Palin Derangement Syndrome.

Trump courted her support and gave her moral support when she was being hammered in the media. I don't know if Cruz ever bothered to practice politics or deal making. That is what politicians are supposed to do. Ronald Reagan made deals and courted people all the time. Cruz type of conservative wants to have like Hindu Caste system kind of conservationism where only that caste can interact with each other and outsiders are shunned - or something.
Trump promised her a cabinet position.

Snubbed Cruz? How so ? She went with Trump - he’s going to win 40 states, try the Obots in federal court like they deserve and she’s going to be Secretary of Enregy? How’s that a snub? Sounds like sound decision making to me - she’s already lost at this before.
I can think of two reasons — 1. Cruz has taken up with that Palin deranged lunatic Glenn Beck and 2. Cruz is not a natural born citizen. Or maybe it’s his TPA/TPP nonsense. Or Ted’s NRSC going after McDaniel in Mississippi. Or maybe Ted’s wife’s association with the CFR. None of these things should accompany a TEA party supporting, sovereignty loving, free and clear of cronies candidate.
But there certainly seem to be other conservatives who have less problems with those things.

I think she made a calculation that Trump has the best chance of all the GOP candidates to go all the way.
I am inclined to agree with her conclusion. I think it’s a small chance, but really the best chance out of the candidates in the GOP field.
She pretty much announced in November ...
I accept what Sarah has done and still support Ted Cruz....
I can’t change Sarah Palin and I also can’t change people who have said nasty things about Sarah like Glenn Beck, who has been very supportive of Ted Cruz.

Probably for the same reasons she's always there for Arizona Johnny. Publicity. Her gig politically has been up for quite a while. More news coverage/publicity a few more speaking engagements etc.
Maybe Palin thinks Trump, like McCain, is kind of mavericky.
She snubbed Ted because she does not think he can win nor be as effective a change agent as Trump.
