Could you imagine the number of heads that would explode if Trump were sworn in?

I get giddy with glee just imagining it.

Paul Ryan is doing good on FNS...I’ll give him the benefit of doubt for now...

No pass for Paul. He has already done tremendous damage with the Omnibus bill. He will push thru amnesty if he is still the Speaker in the next Congress. Ryan is what is wrong with the GOP.

Hi AB!

Knock wood I’m doing well.

Well, send me an email before you come up and maybe we can get together for a chat over a coffee or even something a little stronger ;-)

Hope all is well with you and yours!

Best,
SC

"My biggest hesitation about Cruz is really twofold. First is his cozy relationship with Goldman Sachs. How does the most Conservative person to come along in our lifetime have a wife who is top manager at the worst bank on the planet? This bank is the one that orchestrated the last meltdown and whose CEO became the head of the Obama financial arm. This bank has some of the most hardcore Communist thinkers on the planet with the likes of Robert Ruben, Rahm Emanuel, Corzine, Mark Patterson who wrote TARP and directed the $10 Billion GS bailout. GSachs is at the heart of every crony capitalist bailout and termed the phrase, too big to fail. This is not Conservatism and why the cozy relationship, campaign cash and wife on temporary leave from an upper management position? This is what looks like another crony relationship whether it is or is not."

Hummm, reading her Bio (wiki I know but it was easily available) it sounds like she had/has a job with GS in Houston and started that job 2005 as a private wealth manager? Doesn't sound like any kind of power player in the GS organization by any stretch of the imagination. Other than normal politics this sound like pure BS. I work for a big public utility, the only thing I'm guilty of is having a great job, that I do well.

I’m also waiting to see an intelligent discussion about the “vast wasteland” that is the Democrat field of potential candidates. All I hear about is that when/if Hillary is actually indicted, the alternatives are Joe Biden or Elizabeth Warren. Add in Bernie Sanders, and anybody the Dems have available to run is way past their “use by” date.

Well, first of all you’re quoting Bray’s essay so that should be addressed to him.

However, I do think your point is very valid.

After years of getting screwed by Washington lawyer/politicians from both parties, however, it is easy to see conspiracies all over the political spectrum.

But yeah, I work at a University. They’re all cesspools of liberal, leftist insanity for the most part. But that doesn’t mean I’m one!

Personally I like Cruz. He is my number two choice. I only have Trump as number one because I’m certain Washington NEEDS a shakeup of enormous strength, and only Trump can deliver that.

Just watched Hillary being interviewed by Stephy and then Chuck.

Stephy just lobbed softballs. No mention of the email scandal and possible indictment; and no mention of the movie 13 hours. Stephy is the last person who should be interviewing the Presidential candidates of either party given his association with the Clintons. He used to offer a statement providing the viewers with his connection to the Clintons. No longer. Journalism is dead.

Stephy was far more confrontational with his interviews with Trump and Sanders.

Chuck did a better job with Hillary, but no mention of the email scandal.

They’ve lost so many local and state races, including battleground state governorships, they have nobody on deck.

Deep Blue state governors/Senators don’t count because they’re too liberal to win a national election unless they have some tribalist hook like first black or woman president.

And even the woman they have are not some well spoken, magic negro but shrill harpies of the feminist left. At least that’s the way I perceive them. I hope it is a universal perception!!!

Hi RG!

Hope your wife is doing well!

Rubio sometimes reminds me of the kid you disliked in class - the know it all (or they thought they did anyway), that would always raise their hand and jump up and down - me, me, pick me - look at me.

He’s OK looking, fairly articulate (though not sure that what he spouts out so quickly is true)and seems fairly bright. BUT, he apparently said he’s bored with the Senate and hasn’t been showing up for work, especially for some important votes. Will be like Obummer and get bored with the Presidency and miss security briefings and watch ESPN all day??

I actually liked him (from what I knew of him) when he ran for Senate and was supported by the TEA Party; however, cozying up to Schumer, McCain, and Graham with the Gang of 8 somewhat did it for me - he either supported amnesty all along, was stupid to be pulled into that group or both.

BTW - I was reading a few weeks ago that he had a mistress and was mis-using the credit cards to fly her around. The reports on that seem to have died down - any more news on it in FL?

Or get worse.

The problem is, the media echo chamber magnifies the sound and fury and turns up the amps. But they only do that for the Republicans and certain others.

With the Dims, there is mostly dead air or at the most a tiny blurb in the back of Section D4 or a few seconds at the end of the 11 o'clock news. Once. Not twice.

The media love a good dogfight as long as it's not their dog on the losing end of the fight. For them, when it is GOP, conservatives, or Christians they chum the water and then they dump in a tank truck load of piranhas.

You will enjoy this question by Jake Tapper to Hillary this morning on CNN. Watch her eyes and facial expression. It is very revealing

Thanks!

Stephanopolous is a disgrace. That other "journ-0-lists" have no problem with him in his leadership role says all there is to say about them as a profession.

Worse than lawyers, if that's possible!!!

I’ve been hankering for Chinese food lately - that sounds great! Unfortunately, I don’t have the fixings for it and would have to go the store or a Chinese restaurant a few blocks away. I will probably go to the store tomorrow and pick some things up. Some years ago I made a good Egg Foo Young (it was good to me anyway). Have been trying to find the recipe for it and the gravy and can’t so far. Been looking on line but have had Internet issues (called Comcast 4 times in the last week - they’re sending me a new modem, so hopefully, that will help).
