But he’s been playing this nice guy who won’t sink to political fights. Yet he’s out there today hammering Trump. He didn’t veer slightly off the nice guy path, he swerved all the way into the nasty lane.
It’s unclear whether the FEC rules apply to those loans. They were personal loans, secured with personal assets, not loans to his campaign. His campaign was not responsible for paying the loans back.
Let’s wait and see whether the filing is required to be amended before jumping to conclusions.

Yes, I think most FReepers are fully informed on Hillary’s history. Hillary CHOSE New York, and New York, in turn, CHOSE her, to represent THEM, each time she ran for the US Senate.
The longer this kerfuffle lasts the more it benefits Cruz. The primary schedule is front loaded with folks who do not like NY values. For the conservative cause, values are the foundation of policy and Trump’s values are not conservative.
Ted Cruz was exactly right. It’s not just me that says so. The Daily News just proved it.

Thanks for the heads-up regarding Cruz on Hannity. I usually don’t watch his show but will tonight.
I liked the way things were going earlier in the campaign. Trump was on a trajectory to win and Cruz was going to gather the second highest number of delegates. And, by all appearances, Trump would have chosen Cruz as his running mate. That has ALL been destroyed now-—with Trump having no ground remaining to name Cruz as his VP without appearing to be a hypocrite. It’s unfortunate-—things will likely turn out VERY different from the bright future I had seen for constitutional conservatism.
