after all I've been going through, is to make sure you can afford the insurance. That's going to be the easiest part of it. I am a retiree; so my medical insurance is TriCare Prime. The rates don't change based on employment status. However, we racked up a lot of debt over the years while in the service, then sending two kids to college. That's what I'm going to have to make sure I can afford...
As for greening the workforce; that refers to age as opposed to environment. They want a younger (cheaper!) workforce. Many of my co-workers have been receiving annual raises and are now making much more than the customer wants to pay. We'll see what happens.
