Another round of eagerly awaited GOP debates will take place live January 14 at the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center in North Charleston, South Carolina, airing on the FOX Business Network and streaming live on FOXBusiness.com.
The first debate, scheduled for a 6 p.m. ET start will be moderated by anchors Trish Regan and Sandra Smith. Four GOP candidates will be featured, including former HP (HPQ) CEO Carly Fiorina, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum.
The second debate, which is slated for a 9 p.m. ET start, will be moderated by Anchor/Managing Editor of Business News, Neil Cavuto and Anchor/Global Markets Editor Maria Bartiromo. Candidates at the podium for the later debate will be: real estate mogul Donald Trump, Texas Senator Ted Cruz, Florida Senator Marco Rubio, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, Ohio Governor John Kasich and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

The Cruz folks don’t realize that the reason that Ted got cheers was because he was trying to punch Trump. They were not liking Cruz. The GOPe filled room is finally getting the two front runners to go at it. And now, Trump can’t take Cruz as his VP. We lose.

Forget about independents. Cruz isn’t going to get GOP votes in the upper midwest. Goldman Sachs values just don’t go over well there. Sorry.
Yet in the Gallup poll Cruz has the highest +/- differential. Cruz is -3 favorable unfavorable among Independents, yet Trump is -37%. That number is a death sentence in a General election.
Cruz wins 1 on 1 when pitted against Trump, according to Gallup and we know how Trump loves polls.

I was a Cruz’er before Trump announced. Want him as veep. Want him Pres some day. But I don’t like what he did there re New York.
It’s not even about the convention in Cleveland. The convention is in Cleveland because it’s a swing state with a LOT of EV’s and the election mechanisms come under a state’s governor, which in the case of Ohio happens to be Kasich.

Jeb brings up Kurds - they are Muslims, our other friends in the Arab world that we need to help us with this crisis. We need to tighten up our visa program.
Neil reminds Bush that he called Trump unhinged for suggesting this, but his poll numbers went up because people agreed with him. Neil asks Bush if he thought all those people were unhinged...Bush, no, no, they’re just afraid (maybe they’re bitter clingers, too, huh, Jeb?)
